Geofilter putting me in location(s) outside of radius
Chr replied to Chr's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Yes, all good now after a little two hour session. Seems the issue was Geo-Latency. Thanks for the help! -

thanks for help!! I figured it out it seemed that Steady Ping was on and was conflicting but turned it off and all good now. Edit: After 3 games it seemed to put me right outside the radius to another nearby server. -

Thanks for both of your help through all of this but nothing seemed to work with eliminating my RGW so I just plugged it back In to the switch and the router as well. Everything is working fine as of the past few days, as well as all features on DumaOS. Only thing is some bad wifi speeds but ill live with that as I'm wired to everything in my home for the main part.
-
Just got the chance to do this today and still no luck. The only thing that has changed is now WAN and Public now show an IP.
-
Think I may have an idea why I'm not getting an internet connection. Tell me if I'm wrong. Is it possible because my MAC on the R2 isn't matching the one I had on my Gateway even though the Gateway is not plugged in but was used to authenticate the ONT?

Okay, guess I'll check the settings in the BGW since I had to plug back in for the time being. I've tried inputting manually static and that was no luck, so hope to find something else in the settings.
-
Is it possible because of I used the switch method, just throwing things out there. Because the switch method is the only reason I've gotten as far as I have but the RGW (BGW210) is not plugged in at all since I have ONT in one of the switch ports then another port from switch to router (R2) WAN port.
-
Actually yes I remember the Public said Unknown
-
Not home currently but will send once I get there. The WAN and LAN did say something like "Disconnected" or "Unknown" Can't remember which one for each.
-
Still no luck for me after rebooting the R2.
-
Tried it and still no internet connection wired or wireless.
-
This is my exact problem as well. I guess I will try setting a Static (IP, Subnet, Gateway) and see if that works.

So the factory reset did work so I was able to go in and setup DumaOS but the problem is I don't have a WiFi connection or wired and don't know why.
