Is it still best to connect to Kenya, Egypt, India etc or are you better to connect to a country that is around 2-6am? -

So….I’ve been geo fencing just UK servers in Warzone and turned strict mode on. Sometimes I get 20 ping lobbies but other time it’s 30 ping plus. I thought the ring fence would mean it would force the severs in the geo fence and therefore in reality all lobbies should be the 20 ping lobby? If anybody could clarify that would be much appreciated.

Oh yeh I agree about the bot lobby thing. Found my mw3 multiplayer experience to be decent since setting the vpn/geo this way.

Out of interest do you choose a Vpn location based on the time of day in that location or just use the favoured India/Egypt ones?

Hi Everyone, I have been using the Hybrid VPN set up through my XR500 on PS5 and opened the relevant ports 3074, 443, 1:65535 and the main thing that i notice is that when a server becomes available it will throw you in, therefore searching for matches feels much quicker. Without a VPN, the match search takes longer. Is this because its prioritising connection or is that SBMM kicking in? Its all up for debate but i know my thoughts. One question i do have though, is am i setting everything up correctly? In the past i have just copy and pasted the VPN config for India/Egypt into Hybrid VPN & disable Geo Filter. I find games quickly and connection is good 90% of the time. IF i set my geo fence to my home (UK), and use a VPN config from San Francisco for example, will this make the whole process more efficient or is it just adding in an extra step with little difference?

Apparently this website is essentially a NO LAG VPN equivalent which works with consoles and fully compatible with Duma OS. Has anyone tried this at all?

Could somebody please explain the most effective way for me to use my Express VPN subscription on my XR500 on Warzone 2 please? I have tried connecting to India via UK and everything says connected and my location states India in game, however these bot lobbies that people talk about must be under some hidden layer than i have yet to find! Any help much appreciated, Thanks!

For what it’s worth the Warzone servers are in such a bad way at the moment that it might not even have anything to do with your set up.
-
I was in this exact situation a while ago during Caldera, I bought an XR500 and already had a VPN subscription with Express. in my experience, the VPN experience that you see with the big streamers who play on PC does not reflect the experience you get on console. The reason for this I believe is there are websites out there such as No Lag VPN or SBMMOFF which they state is only compatible with PC. What I do find in some games whilst using the VPN is that you find games much quicker, so essentially what this shows is that the VPN is scrambling SBMM and putting you into the first server that comes available. Final thing is that if I was in a game that felt like a ‘bot lobby’, there would normally be 1 or 2 other teams that were major sweats! My advice is manage your expectations and don’t expect to set everything up and be in bot lobbies all the time, it just doesn’t happen.

Just ran a ping Heatmap and there is no UK server showing….is this something new and any ideas as to why the closest server for us is now France?

MW2 Shoot First Die first? how to fix this?
Tommo1987 replied to ownal0t's topic in Call of Duty Support
I am always intrigued to try new settings on the router to see if it does improve my gaming experience, however i have witnessed first hand how lower skilled players receive advantages during a gunfight. SBMM is the main topic of conversation when it comes to handicapping players, but SBHR (Skill based Hit Reg) is a whole other thing and i have yet to see any proof that this does NOT exist in the game. -

Hello, I am having trouble seeing any Warzone 2.0 / MW2 servers showing on the Ping Heatmap tab. I live in the Uk on the server table the top 4 are; Unknown-7 washington-2 Italy Japan-2 All of these have N/A ms next to them. I can however see server locations for all other games in the list, just seems to be CALL OF DUTY that doesn’t show anything, any ideas? i have resync cloud multiple times and this hasn’t fixed the issue. thanks

Hello, recently when I have tried the Ping Heatmap I am getting no pings whatsoever and the right hand column has a few IP address’ with N/A next to them. Tried rebooting the router but still not working. Any thoughts?

I wish they would just disable SBMM for good lol. thanks man

Thanks Fraser. just to clarify for example, would I set the VPN as I have above and then set the geo location to the same location as the VPN?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anybody could confirm if I have the correct set up for my ps5 & VPN settings within DumaOS…. I currently use Express VPN and I have input the username, password & configuration into the settings for the India VIA UK VPN. In addition to this I have forwarded the following ports; (as per Warzone ps4/ps5 port forwarding) TCP 1:65535 - 443:443 UDP 1:65535 - 3074:3074 When I am in game my geo location does show ‘India’, however im not convinced that I am actually in an India lobby…if that makes sense? I have also tried USA west coast and geo location is correct, but I’m on 40-50 ping vs non American players. My question is….Is this actually working? Have I made any errors in the set up above and if so what changes do I need to make? I also have geo filter disabled. Thank you so much for any help offered!
