hi i have recently built a gameing pc and was trying to download games from the x box game pass but would not download it took about 4 minutes to bring up the install for the game I have tried this about 10 times I then put the ee router in a d it worked is there some settiing in the router to change

it seems to be like the beta on the new firmware is it the same as the xr1000 firmware as they got the duma os3.3 on the last update I just seen on here so has the xr500 got it on that latest update v2.3.4.148

what is the best working firmware to use ???

is there a way to manualy set the speeds direct to each device bandwidth alocation the software on the xr500 was easy to use compared to this i have updated to the early access seems like i am getting same speeds now as with the xr500 was there a pppoe fix in that update

thanks for the add i will play about with this a dont want to use the ee router will sort somthing out whats vlan would that help with anything ?

i never had to do this with my xr500 had it conected to pppoe with great speeds whats changed

i conect to the ont through pppoe with the login as if it was a ee router and its fibre is that not better than using 2 routers ?

hi its pluged into the ont it is with ee but i never use there router the 900 down and 115 up to the speeds which i did on my xr500 i turned smart boost off and speed went up a bit all my devices are hard wiered i tested on fast speed test and okla i havent set the qos yet with optimiser as it would lower my speeds i only got the router a couple of days ago so i dont hink i have it set up to its full potential thanks for your help again fraser

hi i have just got this router the r3 but for some reason i am not geting over 300 meg i have 900 from ee i have reset the router again to start from scratch

am geting a different router to rid myself of this problematic router a can't be bothered with this hassle it really is the worst router disconnecting from the Internet having to reset it to get online worst beta ever o wonder it never got a release by netgear with all the problems the ee router works better
