  1. This update fixed a lot of problems, only issue I see now is some settings reset after you reboot the router. I think people who are having problems have a ISP issue or problems with their own hardware
  2. Seems like this update fixed all my issues GREAT JOB! Getting full throughput (without congestion control) With congestion control using 70% Idle ping is now stable
  3. Trust me I understand the frustration. I ask myself all day why wasn't the Netduma r3 stress tested before launch. Kinda feel like this was a Beta launch to be honest. But all we can do is wait, complaining doesnt get the update any sooner. I dont mind waiting for the update though, i would rather the updated firmware be completely polished vs a rushed fix with more problems
  4. The week ends on saturday. Could be saturday night lol
  5. I don’t think anyone ever tested this.. this is just an old saying to power cycle your network equipment every once in awhile. The best way to do it is to unplug power from the outlet
  6. Yeah as @l2eactionz stated using congestion control at gigabit speeds is pretty CPU intensive. It’s best to turn off congestion control if you have symmetrical gigabit fiber.
  7. I've also noticed traffic shaping gigabit connections are a hassle, its best to leave shaping off and just prioritize gaming traffic only
  8. I’ve also switched back to netduma r2 for now. The netduma r3 has some issues but it has lots of potential. I also hate that netduma r3 released with only 1GbE Ethernet and ISPs are pushing for 10GbE. Ive noticed 5 things so far -Ping on idle is unstable -2.4ghz is much weaker than 5ghz -Lots of cod servers can’t use ping stabilizer -Congestion Control Speedtest gives error everytime -Geo filter still connects to servers outside radius
  9. Posting to see if I can get the latest Netduma r3 beta build and what has changed from the latest official version
  10. I wish we could use Netduma on our own x86 router or even a 10gig capable router. Lots of ISPs are pushing beyond 1 Gigabit and it kinda sucks to see Netduma r3 limited to 1 Gig. I’ve tried pretty much every router OS and nothing comes close to netduma features for gaming. The features are amazing just lacking hardware. If there is any Netduma r4 in the making I wish there will be 3 different routers, something similar to xr300, xr500, xr1000. Like Netduma r4, Netduma r4 plus, Netduma r4 pro. Routers that can fit whatever you’re looking for….., basic, mid tier, and enthusiast. Just give us the option lol
  11. Okay great.. Glad to hear I wasn’t the only one with this issue. Not really even an issue I mean it’s not affecting gameplay at all.. but I like to do more than gameplay testing. And those fluctuations were freaking me out.
  12. I recently purchased a Netduma r3.. I’ve been doing lots of ping/bufferbloat testing on this router. And it’s one thing I’ve noticed. Not sure if I should worry about it or not. I’m not lagging in games at all. But my ping is very unstable while doing a constant ping test in CMD and ping plotter. This doesn’t happen at all on netduma r2. My IDLE ping while there is 0 activity on my network fluctuates between 6ms and sometimes as high as 13ms. Is this just from netduma r3 doing its thing? On my netduma r2 my idle ping stays between 6-7ms this is expected while there is absolutely no activity on my network. But r3 it goes from 6-13ms But like I said I’m not lagging at all in my games this is just something I noticed from me testing ping / latency like I do on all routers
