I didn’t have any of them set in the geo filter, I’m not sure if you can see the ping or not without one being there. But yeah I made sure steady ping was disabled. -I haven’t tried on the firmware that was released yesterday yet.
-
Factory reset fixed those issues but for some reason valorant on console which is the only game I tried playing so could have been other games as well has double the ping as normal and has the constant network issues pop up in the right corner with packet loss. Me and my son both had 40k packet loss one game. Other games the issues would only happen to one of us then other games both.

Upgraded the firmware with no change

Just hooked the r3 back up. for some reason the steady ping option is just completely gone now, what’s up with that? I can only access the interface through the app on any web browser you get the could take up to 4 mins of o load message which never does. When trying to add anything in smart boost now it adds it then when I exit and reopen the app it’s gone and no options the games are listed anymore it only gives options for devices. i can’t update the firmware since last time I did I made it to where only 1 lan port had the full 1 fb speeds

WiFi was fine it was just the lan ports that was slow. My son sit there all day after my wife picked him up from his moms early on the morning not being able to update his game and I sleep during the day since I work at night. So I just reverted back, to much of a headache to deal with

All I tried was switching all the ports around and found only 1 of the 4 would give the actual speeds, they decided to just revert back to .170

On the new firmware 2 of the 3 pcs I have connected are only running 9mb on Speedtest out of a 1000 and are going extremely slow. Something to do with the ports, I switched pcs to the lan port that was running the correct speeds and it ran fine, had to revert back to a previous firmware.

Same thing as described here and no after accessing on the app it still says the same thing on browsers

Nah been this way since the playtests. What you are getting right now unless they add more servers somewhere will likely be what you always get on there

I’m having games like this and depending on how long the game lasts I’m consistent at over a 2kd getting 50-80 kills a game. Seems like it was only that first night it was inconsistent for me ever since then it’s been playing great. Now the ping thing bugs me on xdefiant I get a low of like 30-32 average but I haven’t seen it go above 40. On other games though my lowest can go to 13.

This is the same for anyone who wants to try adding it to smart boost as well.

I have 1 gig up and down. So am I understanding this right that if I don’t have a lot of traffic that could ever reach those speeds to cause congestion then qos would just add a tiny bit of delay possibly or something similar? Its not just me I’ve noticed my sons game playing way better on valorant, watched him drop 36 in a ranked game(he is only silver) but before using qos he only reached silver 1 one season and was performing way worst.

Xdefiant has been hit or miss for me so far as well

Why would it feel like you get better hit detection when qos and smart boost is disabled? Been going back and forth on this topic for a while with a lot of people but it honestly is so much better when qos is disabled even on the Asus router. Isn’t qos supposed to make things better? like it is hard to explain and hit detection can still be pretty good with it on but idk and I don’t think it’s placebo either.
