Hmm ok thanks on that info but i might try on the other way around or maybe not maybe use them in separate connection. thanks on that notice Neat system on that “optima” would that be the similar program as the Duma OS? (If the system of the optima is not similar to the Duma OS would we need that “optima” + R3? Or just the R3?)

Hi Netduma team; i was wondering if i can use the R1 as a pirmary router and put the r3 through in 1 of it's lan ports of the R1 router can it work? as both have a duma OS which R1 has duma 3 and r3 had duma OS 4 would both router can work together or should i separate them R3 on a different port in the LAN switch port? oh and by the way as i would i have already asked this in the past but i totally forgot where that post is i should give that idea again here but im probably in the wrong section to do this. but here it is under the section on the device manager -> device settings -> device type. as i mentioned before in the past post i was asking for a device type for "wi-fi extender" on the device type but it was not implemented in the DumaOS 3 was this impletmented on DumaOS 4? on the Netduma R3 router? sorry if this was implemented already thanks on the DumaOS 4 but if not then can you guys add "wi-fi extender" on the device type. please and thank you more power to the devs. oh and another note what is "optima"? is it a router? or a internet service provider? (sorry as i was not checking daily on the news XD)

finally at last the Duma OS is working properly i can now use the app but in the past i have not been using the app since that time whne the update was not released yet which is great thanks on the update for the app i have the same issue as the first post of this problem which is ""This Platform is not supported by DumaOS" as a user of Netduma R1 but i can access it through the PC which have no problem at all but the app itself was the problem in the past updates but now the update is now supporting the old R1 im happy to use it

Like Jeofel said on his 2nd post we all wanted to have it just automatically Plug and play on the any Internet connection that we got in a different location though but if this was implemented this could be fun and tweaking in a lot of ways. Cause of differnet internet speeds that we all had this could be a great addition to it’s functionality.

Well it’s still the very first Router that they made though but the specs are not on the technology side but it’s still Duma though but yeah you’re right the technology of the R1 cannot have the newest specs of today though. Hmm well im still using it. It’s still running but on software side the technology is progressing maybe a separate update of the DumaOS can still support this R1 though but not on the technology specs side but what it can do as the very first router that you guys have created. It’s still superb in terms of connection and gaming though. (Without your router I wouldn’t have been playing with my friends online on the switch though and ps4, ps3, and a new console ps5 soon) with the software now I can tweak the settings and make it run smoothly though. It’s fun tweaking the settings and doing some experiments on the QoS. What im saying that don’t removed the support of your R1 just let it have it’s software support people and vise versa on the other routers that has the DumaOS which has their own advantages. Soon to get a R2 though.

Just a curious question at the moment are we nearing the end support for the R1 router? Or does it still have support? Well I’ve been having this router for a couple of year ago and it’s still strong though just on the right settings and a few tweaks it’s still working though. It’s my personal gaming router.

I know i have posted this topic we have WPA and WPA 2 but how about adding this much secured network mode for a WPA 3 sorry for posting this again here.

It’s good to check the forums every now and then and i never knew that this has to be the new beta version of the DumaOS i will install it later and check it’s functions. thanks.

Oh i thought it was on a email but i was shocked that it was on the forum thanks i never really noticed that my mistake 😅 thanks again i’ll do that just now going install the beta. To my 2 Netduma R1 routers. if i find any bugs of some sort i’ll make sure to report it.

Hello @Netduma Fraser i was wondering when will i get the beta for the Duma OS 3.0 how long am i in the list of beta users in R1 netduma. Just checking cause i haven’t got any email for it to use and test for it’s awesome features. ( waiting for about 3 months and 2 weeks ) currently waiting for it and excited to use but as of now no beta yet.

@Netduma FraserYes i have used the same email account from signing up in dumaos 3.0 and it’s the same account too in the forum. is there any Chance that i can get the dumaos 3.0 im a R1 user. Oh by the way i’ve bold up your question for me.

Hiya to netduma team & Alex well here i am i just made my account recently i did have sign up cause alex have told me to make one to be given already in the beta for duma os 3.0 but im just waiting for the software update to be given and to use so i can tweak some settings in it im now glad to be a part of the netduma. but a 2 months back i was already sign up for the beta launching of duma os 3.0 Im now patiently waiting for it to come.
