hanks Fraser. I can't put the Fritzbox into bridge mode directly. When I use exposed host I don't have an open NAT with the R3. It's only open when I forward port 3074 from the Fritzbox to Netduma. I can only activate PPPoE passthrough on the Fritzbox but I can't get a connection on the R3. On my PC a LAN cable appears at the bottom instead of the world when there's no connection but, as I said, I can't get onto the internet. Maybe the IP address has to be in the Fritzbox range instead of 192.168.77.1?

Ich habe einen telekom vdsl 2 Anschluss. Bislang habe ich den r3 als exposed host mot der fritzbox verbunden. Ich würde gerne mal die pppoe Variante probieren. Funktioniert das überhaupt? Falls ja hat mir jemand bitte eine genau Anleitung?

I had problems upgrading the firmware yesterday. It showed me everytime .290
This morning i unplugged the cable from wan port. Pc to r3 only without ethernet and it installed the new firmware. Maybe this helpes for others too.

Hello Fraser, I had the time and tested it. I don't have any disconnects in exposed host. only in bridge mode. I'm glad that my contract is about to end. I'll switch back to Telekom DSL. Cod was more playable than Vodafone cable.

I'll try that. Is exposed host also possible? I have a Fritz box. It's just strange that this never happens in the middle of the game. After a few rounds and whenever the game ends before a new game is searched for, I lose the connection.

I have disconnections every day. My ISP modem/router is in bridge mode. It's been like this since I bought the R3 when it was released. It has the latest firmware. I actually only play COD and the connection always breaks after the round. Not during the game. My ISP modem then restarts itself and the connection is back after a few minutes. I think it fixed it by enabling crossplay on my ps5. Didnt know that it affect gaming on PC. Playing now 3 rounds without Problem on my pc.

Hey Fraser i can Play 1 game with around 30ms Ping then it Starts again with really high ping around 150ms. It take about 5min to find a lobby. I unplugged the r3 wanted to test with isp Modem/router ans it stuck at searching ->58ms. I mostly Play at 11-30ms servers.
Did you think they shadowbanned me?

Ok it helped gettin around 30ms now. But why did this happen? I didnt change any Setting and did factory Reset before open this topic.

Hello im connecting always to Saudi Arabia Server. Geo Filter on or off doesnt matter im playing always with 150ms Ping. My isp modem FRITZbOx is in Bridge mode. I live in germany.
how can i fix this?

i own the xr500. Tried R2 xr1000 as well before i dont get A+ bufferbloat with Dumaos its around 30ms. Only with openwrt i get A+. Do you think the R3 will handle bufferbloat like openwrt?

should I drop by 10 and play a round or just do a bufferbloat test? I've really tried everything possible, each time pretty much the same ping under load results. In the game I have eg 19ms latency, players with 60-70ms kill me so easily. if they were better ok but it feels like connection because some of my shots don't land either.

I use the xr500 and no matter what settings I've tried I get the ping under load in the download not less than 25ms. my base ping is 12ms. vodafone business 1000mbit down 50 up. upload is 0-4ms under load. could it be that the fritzbox 6591 doesn't get a better ping under load? Unfortunately, I can't upload the firmware to 7.50 because vodafone does that unless I get my own modem, but I really don't know if that will do anything. could a switch to the r2 solve the problem? I'm really desperate, I don't have a packet loss in the game, but I feel like I'm 1 second behind the opponents.

Hi danke für eine Empfehlung. Ich war die letzten 4 Jahre bei vodafone Business davor telekom da hatte ich auch den vigor 165 aber konnte halt nicht mein festnetz haustelefon nutzen. Muss mal schauen wie der 2765 so ist. Ich habe gelesen dass der 4r nicht als modem funktioniert gab es diesbezüglich ein Update? Telekom anschluss kommt ha vom Keller geht 1 stock hoch ins Wohnzimmer dann wider runter in mein gaming Zimmer. Oben fritzbox ist auch wlan an wegen tv usw glaube sollte schauen dass alles über den r3 verbunden wird.
