Very clever! Now you just need to connect two together to make the ultimate router spidership!

Thats because 1. You get more players using 3rd party hacks like wall hacks and aimbot and also aim lock on pc and xbox  and 2. On console especially ps4 You get better aim assist. Console players can  melt pc players as long as the pc players are genuine and not using 3rd party hacks.

starlord2687 reacted to Netduma Alex in Welcome R2 owners! We want your feedback!
Hello, congratulations and thank you to all of the new R2 owners!
I'm making this thread because we'd like everybody's honest opinions on the product. The cool thing about the R2 is that it's the same unit that our developers use to develop on, so if you find any bugs or have any issues, we should be able to respond quickly to that feedback in new firmwares. I can report any issues straight to the developers and get an answer very quickly about how feasible an update is.
Because DumaOS is developed using Netduma R2's, you should expect cutting edge updates and new features to come to the R2 before other platforms. Keep an eye on this forum for our latest firmwares, because the R2 doesn't currently have an auto-update function for firmwares.
However we CAN send out automated updates for the Geo-Filter map, the Ping Heatmap lists, the Device Types, the Traffic Priorization profiles and the Adblocker lists. In future we'll add the ability to update features through the rapp store!
Anyway that was a tangent, let us know what you think, and thanks again for supporting Netduma!

You could do ISP router (XR in DMZ) > XR500 in router mode (R2 in DMZ) > R2 for wired devices and see if that is more stable for you.

Hi everyone, ill start of by saying, when I first got my R2 I noticed it got quite hot underneath, due to the vents being at the bottom. However I came up with a great fix. So what I did was I purchased some SUGRU, I wont say where as I wouodnt want to advertise a company on this forum. However its easily obtainable. The sugru is a mouldable glue like playdoe and hardens.it only requires just 1 small sachet to make the 4 legs which costs under £2.  Having longer feet is also perfect for anyone using there R2 on top of there XR500 as I know im using my XR500 for the wifi I didnt want to permanently have my legs fixed onto my R2 so just before they hardened I removed them. And purchased some small 12.5mm round flat velcro pads, so that I can attach or detach the legs anytime I want, i chose this way as the velcro is just a tiny small sticker and doesnt void warranty in anyway as its not been opened or modified  Ps these pics are before I added the velcro pads as they haven't arrived yet. (PLEASE SEE ATTATCHED PICS)

I have had that happen before, a few times so I know that other things can effect that,  and stop it working, such as ivp6 and sometimes just a simple reboot helps or go to setup wizard and just setup again. Sometimes ivp6 can effect it. Try toggling ivp6 on lan side and if your with sky and using your own router then input the generic user name and password in option 61. Those are all the things I've had to do before to get mine to work.

Thanks fraser l, BTW of you happen to have a logitech g13 that you wanted to have an easy mode for the small joystick then I have a good mod I made. I basically used sugru and different sized analog grips. So I first put the sugru into the first smaller grip and put that onto to original joystic making sure it mouled all around and left that to dry for 24 hours. The good thing is the original joystic is like sort of a round triangilat shape so it mould around it good. Now as the first grip I moulded on was a nontendo switch grip I was then able to firmly secure to to other grips as an when needed making this now a secure firm 3 tier custom joystic at 3 different heights, please see link attatched here is my custom mod on my youtube channel
if you ever want me to help with any kind of design or mod, I used to be a tech for many companies including Sony so I would prototype and design or build.

starlord2687 got a reaction from Netduma Fraser in Qos for COD MODERN WARFARE
HI FRASWR AND ALL I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE MY SETTINGS FOR COD MODERN WARFARE, OK SO I HAVE THE NETGEAR DM200 ROUTER IN MODEM MODE, CONNECTED TO THAT I HAVE THE NETDUMA R2 CONNECTED TO THE R2 I HAVE MY XR500 IN AP MODE BEING USED ONLY FOR ITS WIFI, AND THE WIFI TURNED OFF ON THE R2. WHEN EVER I SET UP THE R2 OR XR500 WITH THE LATEST SOFTWARE FIRST STEP I TAKE THEN IS I RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS THAT WAY IT REBOOTS THW MODEM  TO THE START OF PROCESS WITH THE LATEST SOFTWARE, AS I THINK ITS BETTWR TO START A FRESH WITH ANY NEW UPDATES AND NOT JUST LEAVE AS IS WHEN INSTALLED RIGHT. SO I THEN SET MY QOS TO 72 DOWNLOAD AND UPLOAD, AS PING IS KING AND THE DOWNLOAD AND UPLOAD DOESNT REALLY MATTER SO MUCH!! IM ONLY INTERRSTED IN THE LOWER PING.SO I DINT MOND SACRIFICING 20 MBPS AS ITS NOT GOING TO CHANGE ANYTHING IN GAME.  SO ON MY BENCHMARK TEST ITS ALWAYS A+ SO YOU CAN ALL SEE IVE TESTED IT ON ANOTHER ACCURATE TEST DSL REPORTS, AND PLEASE  SEE PICS FOR THE RESULTS. PS I THINK ONE SMALL BUT MAJOR IMPORTANT THING FOR EVERYONE TO REMEMBER WHEN ONSTALLING THE NEW FIRMWARE AND RESETTING ROUTER TO SET UP FROM THE START IS THEY MAKE SURE THEY DO THE DOWNLOAD AND UPLOAD AUTO TEST TO GET THEIR ACCURATE SPEEDS BEFORE SELECTONG THE QOS SLIDERS.  ANYWAY THESE ARE THE SIMPLE SETTINGS THAT WORK FOR ME ON COD MODER WARFARE MULTIPLAYER AND WARZONE. PLUSS 1 LAST OTHER SPECIAL ADVICE THAT I THINK IS JUST FANTASTIC. SET YOUR PING ASSIST TO MAX SET YOUR CIRCLE TO YOUR NEAREST SERVER THEN HAVE A FRIEND THATS IN GERMANY OR AMSTERDAM OR AND CONNECT TO THEM AND HAVE THEM AS THE LOBBY HOST. YOU WILL SHRED EVERYONE LOL. HOPE THIS HELPS GUYS N GALS

Have you added the device? On top left of the screen where it says add device when you move your mouse over it? If you havent added a device then you wont see anything on your map.

    Hey, welcome to the forum!
The DM200 is a modem already so there won't be any settings you need to change on this. Go through the setup wizard and see if it detects a connection, if it doesn't just skip the part about entering WAN Settings. Then when you get into the interface go to WAN Settings and enter these details, apply and you should get a connection.
Enable both DHCP Identifiers in WAN Settings and set it up like this:
    Client Identifier ID
    52616e646f6d7573657240736b7964736c7c70617373776f7264
    Vendor Class ID
    6.14.1aN_UNI|PCBAFAST2504Nv1.0
  22. Thanks
starlord2687 reacted to Netduma Fraser in Netduma R2 setup with netgear dm200
You don't need to change any settings on the DM200 as it is a pure modem already. You would put the information I gave you into the R2 WAN Settings, no need to do MAC Cloning.
