  1. I see a lot of people who have problems with this release . Will there be a hotfix or update to resolve the problems soon ? I'm kind of scared to upgrade at this point.
  2. I was in a scenario where i want to play on pc ( league of legends ) but my mom hogs the bandwidth with netflix on a 20mb down 1 mb up line. The xr500 actually fixed this for me and maintains the quality on her stream to full hd np . Try these settings : antibufferbloat download slider : 75% upload slider 50% then reset your qos for dowload and upload. On download qos for your gaming device set to 50% and the netflix device to 25% rest keep as is click apply. On the upload qos set your gaming device to 70% rest as is and click apply. This should work out for you and with time you can tweak it to match your bandwidth capability. Enjoy, this should help you out for the holiday season at least.
  3. Any News on the new frimware ? Ive been waiting for ages and i really need to make some new priority custom ports for qos!
  4. Hey i dont know if its related but recently ive been having problems with this. In my case i realized that the adblock service in my chrome browser was acting up and it seemed as if there was no internet try uninstalling it and checking if that works.
  5. yeah its on when downloading , sometimes when uploading and goes away 15 sec after closing application. This does not occur with the other clients. Thx!
  6. I previously submitted a post regarding bittorrent traffic being recognized as "high priority traffic" in the QoS settings therefore dropping total download speed. The Tl:dr of the resolution of that post was "watch your port numbers" HOWEVER i have noticed something in particular that i feel the duma team should investigate on. I have realized that no matter which ports i use on specifically the " qBittorrent " client even when duma classified games is turned off it would detect some packets as high priority which triggers the antibufferbloat. Its not a lot of high priority packets but enough to keep the antibufferbloat in a permanent on/off situation. I would say every 25 sec it triggers 1 high priority packet that turns on the antibufferbloat. I thought this was odd so i tried 2 different bittorrent clients to download the same file with same designated ports and to my surprise no high priority traffic is detected it only happens on the qBittorrent client. It would be great if the Duma team could replicate this and see what is causing the problem. TlDr qbittorrent client triggers high priority traffic while other competing clients like uTorrent do not.
  7. Changing port number on TCP helped. Sometimes the router detects high priority only for a second but this does trigger the anti bufferbloat briefly as well and i think the blizzard battle.net app is the culprit . Anyways, problem solved thanks guys !
  8. I have been using buffer-bloat set to automatic when high priority traffic is detected and its been working great. My only problem is that when i download a torrent it detects it as high priority limiting the amount of download bandwidth it can grab. In most cases when i start a torrent i want it to take all my bandwidth so this has become a problem for me. I made sure that the custom ports i set up for high priority didn't match the port setting of the torrent client but the problem still persists. turning off anti buffer-bloat every time i start a torrent is something id like to avoid. Is there any way to stop the torrent client from being read as high priority?
  9. Thanks for the prompt responses guys. is it possible to restore the .32 configuration file into the .22 firmware after rolling back ? I really dont want to lose all my saved device names :P overclocked
  10. Yeah, i have tried both that and the DumaOS Classified Games set to enabled. Only overwatch works :/
  11. As soon as i got my xr500 i went ahead and updated to latest firmware which is currently v2.3.2.32. I managed to set up anti-bufferbloat and bandwidth allocation and its working wonders ! (props to netduma team ! ) the only problem is that i want to run it when it recognizes game traffic but the red light wont light up when i launch league of legends even though DumaOS Classified Games is set to enabled and even when a a custom rule is set for the the pc playing it. I also tried adding the manual lol ports but i keep receiving an error message: RPC error 'ERROR_UNKNOWN': bad argument #1 to 'len' (string expected, got nil) -> stack traceback: ?: in function <?:73> [C]: in function 'len' ?: in function '?' ?: in function 'decode' ?: in function <?:50> (tail call): ? ?: in function <?:324> [C]: in function 'xpcall' ?: in function 'try' ?: in function <?:290> [C]: in function 'run' ?: in function <?:345> [C]: in function 'xpcall' ?: in function 'try' ?: in function <?:261> (tail call): ? /dumaos/api/cli.lua:48: in function </dumaos/api/cli.lua:30> [C]: in function 'xpcall' /dumaos/api/cli.lua:59: in main chunk [C]: ? I tried playing Overwatch and it gets recognized immediately working as it should. So question is, why is league of legends not being detected and why cant i add the ports manually? any help would be appreciated since league is the main game i play everything else is prefect Overclocked
