If it takes a while it's just due to population count unfortunately. There are so many things needed to match you with local player: playing exactly at the same time, same playlist, same skill-level/prestige and a bunch of other things. If the server is outside your filter make sure to tick "strict mode". And have ping assist set to 0ms.

Hi Hector, If you don't like the connections near you, you can move your home on the Geo-Filter and get games in other places. For example I know a guy who lives in California but he prefers host in Kansas. So he moves his home on the router by clicking a button to Kansas to get games there. That should help you there.

Thanks for the kind words r8rs4lf. I hope it's fixed now, we didn't see it happen for ages. But if it happens again don't worry it's just a matter of being there to catch it. God willing it's fixed now though To everyone else I'll wait for confirmation. If it is fixed then you'll have a fix by end of the week in the way of an upgrade with all the other goodies!

Ok thanks. I've done it r8rs4lf. Can you go to host filtering page and to a hard refresh. On windows that is "Ctrl + F5". Then under your console click "Select Service". Then pick your console again but this time choose "Xbox Live No PingAss" NOT "Xbox Live PA". Then wait 5mins or so to make sure everything is flushed from your Geo-Filter. Then try again, does that stop that pesky host appearing?

Hi r8rs4lf, Can I try adding a new service to your router. I'll call it "Xbox Live No PingAss" and you can try reselect that service. See if that fixes the issue? Otherwise I'll have to investigate tomorrow. Thanks
