1. So I think I found the problem of my connection woes so having the Arris TM602G( https://www.amazon.com/Arris-TM602G-Telephony-Modem-Packaging/dp/B015DXZ3GY) as the main modem in my house cause once it's cut off everything is off including the the TP Link 7610 in my room is there a networking problem going on between the two. I may be grasping at straws cause we only pay for just one account for the cable line.
2. Here's another with Netduma on while im watching a movie on my ps4 via Netflixs atm no one isnt at home an my brother is in the other room but he usually watching tv an the occasional gaming on the xbox 360.
3. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015PPQXBO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 These are the STP ethernet cables I got that I've to replace the cheap/worn ones I had. Here's the pingplotter graph without the netduma on google.
4. So just trying to make sense of all this im guessing my cable line is pretty messed up, have to be SuddenLink but then again it could be because I switched isp modem WBM760A to TP Link TC-7610 things got crazy but when I did my modem only test with the 7610 it looked ok on the ping plotter I guess. I'm hoping to have someone help me thru this problem an what need to be done.Going to try to get a tech from suddenlink over here soon. But some STP Ethernet cables to replace the Ethernet cables I have been using.Hard to connect back to the internet sometimes for the xr500/tc-7610 This last graph is from my modem with no one on the internet except me.I only have my computer an my ps4 wired in the xr500 an have the wifi on for my family in the household. May not mean much but here's my dslreports results Bufferbloat (lag) idle vs under load is usually what I look at most http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest/41151113 With Netduma xr500 70/70 with antibufferbloat on "Always" http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest/41151236 http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest/41222345 With wifi off on netduma xr500 http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest/41222436 With wifi off an having 70/70 with antibufferbloat on "Always"
5. Damn whats your setup for that connection tho?? lmao I can only dream to have those matches on black ops 4(still haven't lol)
6. Been getting into 19ms-23ms matches an still dying fairly fast, Where it takes me a half of clip they be killing me like im playing hardcore lol. Some have been ok/good an some have been extremely frustrating an inconsistent, idk if it's my isp or what I've use ping plotter an whatnot but I dont have many choices in the isp services here. I use Suddenlink I could upgrade to hybridfiber coaxial (HFC) network for an extra $30 but idk if that'll make much of a difference.I have port forwarded but it hasn't made much of a difference an when I use geofilter you cant see all of the players that are connected to you or even see if some or even most of them are out of your geofilter circle put I do see the dedicated servers an the person that's hosting But I have found the Dallas Dedi server but it plays like straight ass for me even tho I get a 19-23ms ping so idk what to do, I've been messing with the qos sliders an trying to find the best set up for me but it's been hell finding it lol. I wont give up on the xr500 cause I know it's going to be amazing once I do get it going at some point, been playing in different dedicated servers but none haven't been so kind to me lol.
7. Try to get the technician here neither tmrw or sometime next week.
8. So I called the my internet provider suddenlink to help with the issues i'm having, I guess i'm going to have someone come here an show the technician whats really happening to my connection. they tried over the phone but I knew that probably wasn't going to work. Only thing that concerns me is the latency/how my connection seems to go everywhere an the bit of packet loss i'm seeing just don't know what to actually do to fix this problem. I know black ops 3 can be a mess with it fluctuating connection(whether or not to believe the connection meter on that game idk) Hopefully black ops 4 will be better just wanted to play some good games before 4 comes out.
9. So I ping to the Dallas server that's on black ops 3, i'm 317.1 mi from Dallas so my ping is usually fluctuating between 19ms-23ms so I decided to use this on the pingplotter an here's my findings. So it seems im having abit of packet lost smh. So I changed my abit from before an it's modem(Tplink TC-7610) -> Router(XR500) <- Router(R6300 AP mode),PS4 an Computer is connected into the XR500 but it seems like the wireless connection on the 6300 in ap mode is being a hit or miss. I know I need to call the internet provider Suddenlink. But even with the wifi turned off on the XR500 it's still feels very unplayable on black ops 3 but atleast now I can see where most the problem is coming from its my connection.
10. Ok so I finally got around to to pingplotting my modem(Tp-link 7610) an here's the results this was late last night cause I get out of work pretty late. seems like I do have a problem an I wonder what I can do to fix the problem.
11. Bought the netduma xr500 three days ago been trying to learn the router an been lurking around here looking for a fix to have an amazing black ops 3 experience. I've downloaded pingplotter an on congestion(QoS) DL70%/UL70% with anti bufferbloat on always for the netduma xr500 here's my results. An on congestion(QoS) DL100%/UL100% with anti bufferbloat is on priority traffic detected I wonder if my latency an ping is good DSL reports shows I do get A's in my bufferbloat an I get A+ on jitter/Ping test an I still get very terrible games in black ops 3 I used the profile settings an the 70%/70% with congestion an my PS4 is wired connection. it goes to TP-Link TC-7610 -> Netgear XR500 -> PS4(wired) an I ping on cmd an for minimum is 21ms, Maximum 23ms, an Average is 22ms from pinging from google.com My ISP is SuddenLink an I live in Texas an sadly cant get any better than Suddenlink...I have 200DL/20UL But on the xr500 I have 216.52DL/21.78UL. Really trying to find an set up or settings to play this game for it to be enjoyable. First time posting on here so hopefully something can be done. The Dallas Texas server plays horrible for me for some reason considering im not too far from it I have 20ms-27ms.
