  1. Okay, thanks for the response. If I am using it behind another router/firewall, is there any issue I should be concerned about with the double NAT? There was some mention of this in the UI but no info or tips on what to do if I experience issues with this config.
  2. Hi! I'd like to use the Netduma behind another router as more of a L2 switch on the same subnet as my main network. I tried this with the latest DumaOS and original R1 firmware and was unsuccessful. Is it possible to use this configuration?
  3. I'm not sure I want to start getting into situations with cross channel interference but I guess there isn't much of a choice in this case. Thanks as always for the support and insights!
  4. It's 2 steams for a max of 144mb/s so around 65Mbps total makes sense especially at a 20mhz channel width. Moving the router helped me achieve that, thanks for reminding me to look at the simple things first. 6 and 11 are equally congested and 1 is the most congested. Any plans on coming out with a 5ghz model or would the duma code work on another mikotik box with 5ghz wifi?
  5. Hi Fraser! Thanks for the quick reply. I understand I won't get 150 down directly over wifi but all of my devices are 802.11n so unless the duma only does single stream wireless to my devices this doesn't really make sense. 1 stream at 70% would be 35mbps so that would be correct if I can only expect 54mbps down max. The router is on top of a cabinet with a wall behind it. It is close to a stereo receiver, my ps4, a harmony wifi remote control hub and a tv. I'll try repositioning it for testing sake. Generally I am within 10-30 feet of the router. Unfortunately, 1, 6 and 11 are all pretty saturated where I am. The 5ghz band is not that saturated. I can try another router I have to test that but I really do enjoy the duma's features, small form factor and not having to use the extra electricity.
  6. Hi everyone, I've noticed that my wifi speeds are slow even when I have congestion control set to 100%. My subscribed Internet speeds are about 150/10 and I have no problem getting these speeds wired to the duma or directly to the modem but over wifi the speeds are not great. I've tested on an iPhone 6, a 2009 and a 2017 macbookpro all with the same results about 30mbps down/10 up. Any suggestions? My configuration is: Reactive, usually 70 when gaming, 100 when not wifi is wpa-psk2. channel usually 6 or 11 though it's fairly congested where I am upnp enabled lan/wan ipv6 disabled lan/wan mtu auto deep packet processing off stealth and turbo mode on auto cloud and bleeding edge cloud on. Anything I'm missing? Thanks!
  7. Thank you both for your responses. I'm not sure I need turbo mode since I have the Comcast Blast! package so I'll give that a shot. I think we're subscribed to 50 or 65 Mbps down but it can burst up over 100 depending on local utilization. For reactive or pre-emptive, I usually have the upload and download sliders at 100% unless gaming. I don't see why the preemptive one should slow things down? Is that also a bug with the Netduma? The Data roaming bit sounds odd. Data roaming (depending on your country) should just allow you to make use of other providers cell towers. I don't see why that should effect a WiFi function. If I still have issues I'll guess I'll setup static IP addressing and port forwarding.
  8. Hi everyone, I was just curious if anyone has had issues in the US with AT&T wifi calling through the Netduma R1. I don't have any queueing or congestion features turned on and upnp is enabled as well. When one of the iPhones in the house indicates that it should be using wifi to make the call sometimes it will work and other times the call will just fail immediately or there will just be silence and nothing happens. Many times just rebooting the router will fix it for awhile but it'll go back to not working shortly after. Here is a link to at&t's suggested router settings to make sure this works: https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/wireless/KM1114459 udp 500 and 4500 and tcp 143. Looks like my MTU is set properly, im on the latest firmware and i'm using google dns. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!
  9. Hello! I'm on version 1.03.4 and would like to upgrade. Please let me know what I need to do to perform this update. Thanks! tbrig1 Nevermind! All set and I can't seem to delete this post.
