Knowing it needed to be enabled would have saved me a lot of trouble with the BTTV box not working for subscribed Iptv content . BT didn't have a clue Why I was getting error ipc6023. Geoff. nicey1958 Posted April 15, 2018 Author Share Posted April 15, 2018 Hi Geoff - most people don't need it which is why NETGEAR probably have it set to disabled. but does it have any detrimental effect it being enabled? even if you don't need it.? just took me days to find the solution as to why BTTV sport wouldn't work on the box and only stumbled on that by chance in a post that wasn't related to BTTV.
