hunter_p_12 Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Hey Rab. I'm not too sure, but I think the dedis can't be blocked since they are probably integral for AW. At least for me I always connect outside of my geo filter to the one in San Fran and the one in LA. Oddly enough I live near Seattle and hardly ever get put in that one. Seems matchmaking happens on a user host then it transfers over to the dedicated server. I know this probably doesn't help any. Just thought I'd give my input.
Ca11mecowboy Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 My setup for AW is about 600km on the Geo filter. PA is set to 40. I get dedis almost exclusively. My pings are consistently below 40, which I believe is optimal. I will say that I still have a really shakey experience on AW. I've been reading through the forum and have been seeing that people were having great games on older CODS. I decided to bust out the old Xbox and try Blops2. It was amazing. I had to widen the geo and increase PA to get a game because there are fewer players. But if my ping to host was 60ms or less, it played flawlessly. The router is doing its work. AW on the other hand is pretty broken. I thought Id throw that out there. You can trust the guys on this forum as far as your setup is concerned. You've probably got it dialed in. AW is the problem. Im sure AW will run great two years after we're all done playing it...

I had a good system going to get into sub 20ms games consistently, but sense dedis are getting thru filter i can no longer do this because the game thinks i should play in seatle. Hopefully its me doing something wrong. I may be available this evening if i can get the wifey to hold off on dinner plans. If not, then tomorrow all day if your working. If not, no worries.
