Seth_18
Ok I'll try that tonight. But when I play private I always have my xbox at 90 but I'll try sliders at 80/
imts_maul
You've got slightly low speeds for hosting but it should still be enough. Try sliders on 80% and priorities your console at about 90% on the device prioritisation exactly what I was thinking, you'll need close to 100% of your bandwith to run correctly, 70 on the sliders just isn't enough with your current speeds.. and if 80% isn't enough try 85-90% until you find what works for you...also make sure you have the 3mbps down and 1mbps entered into the "SET Bandwith" feature of the Netduma Congestion Control
Seth_18
Do I always have the bandwidth like that. Because I change it everyday depending on my test or should I just keep at 3 down 1 up
imts_maul
if it's always around 3down and 1up I'd leave it at that.. speeds will always vary..2.8 to 3.5.. to me that's a 3...
Alex49H
It's weird that OP is having problems with games in California. Depending on what console he's on, PS4 games are terrific using dedicated servers in California. Remember folks....I'm located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I've also discovered that on the Xbox front, shrinking my geo filter to just cover California and ping assist set to "0" (forcing to avoid the Kansas and Seattle dedicated servers), I've gotten games on California dedicated servers. I've NEVER gotten games from their while on the Xbox. Fraser, I've "PM'd" you in regards to "whitelist" servers, can you check that out. Let me know what you think. I'm thinking to just leave it alone and not whitelist that particular id. By whitelisting it, I'm not sure if finding games in California will be affected. I'm thinking the OP problem is his ISP. I live in So Cal and have both PS4 and Xbox One and those servers are way too inconsistent for me. 2 out of 3 games are bad for me. And I am not too far away from the server in LA.
