OldPeddler Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Anyone else experiencing this random reset after upgrading to 1.03.5? It happens about 1 or 2 time every 2 to 3 hours. All internet comes to a halt and the router has a single 1 second beep then resets itself. The connection failure only lasts for about 30 seconds and all traffic is restored. Anyone else having a similar issue? Thanks, OP
Taff Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 no, but i did have another similar router that had that problem, had the wrong power adapter in it. may not help but it did exactly the same thing. the other was everytime i bumped it it would turn off for a second, that was caused by not plugging in the cord securely, a buggy connection really.
Tommy885 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 I think i have had this on 1.03.4. I will set a constant ping to google tonight and see if there is any disconnects in the morning and let you know if it happens to me.
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted November 21, 2015 Netduma Staff Posted November 21, 2015 Can you make sure the Duma is plugged directly into a power socket and that it can't be overheating
Wyrdo Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Mine has done it twice, never happened until the update. Nothing has changed with the router other than the update.

Wyrdo Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 You got turbo or super turbo mode on? Yeah, I have turbo mode on.
OldPeddler Posted November 21, 2015 Author Posted November 21, 2015 Yeah, I have turbo mode on. Same here.
OldPeddler Posted November 21, 2015 Author Posted November 21, 2015 I'll try changing power outlets and let you know how it goes.
Tommy885 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 I think it could be a thermal issue because i have my R1 in my server room and it gets quite hot in there will all my servers running, I doubt it's a power issue for me as i have all my networking gear on UPS's and surge protectors to smooth out the power. I Will put a fan or something on the R1 to try and get some airflow in that PCB. That might fix it
