I can easily avoid dedis and host games using short GF radius, PA=0, and strict mode on. I used to believe that hosting a game is everyone's dream, but not any more. I just can't play when I host. I'm always behind action and my bullets don't kill. It feels like severe Lag Compensation kicks in, making the game unbearable. Another explanation could be that I suck hard, but I think I'm an average player (run'n'gunner with approx 1.0 KDR) Just wanted to share this hosting situation with you guys, and tell me what do you think. .
Buckeye Purple Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Its most certainly not you or your connection i'm willing to bet, I've never experienced such bad lag comp like this in years, and i agree its unbearable to the point i'm ready to give up, if you go to reddits black ops 3 forum, there is a lag thread started last night its already got 400 comments with people pulling their hair out over this garbage. look i see the point everyone needs to have a chance to play the game equally, but its just so ridiculously in favour of high pingers getting comped, low ping is certainly not king in this game.

You only have to look around the www to see how bad this is just now for a large portion of the community, everyone is trying to dumb down there ping to get on side with this comp, its even more frustrating that i have the best gaming router in the business and now i need to search for ways to hamper my connection. this just isn't right.

Throttle everything dude. R1 gives you the tools. This is what I'm going to try later this evening. SimJc was right when he was talking about throttling.
