Woof Dah
Noob question, but for some reason my NAT type has started showing up as Strict. My R1 is out of the box and I've had it for about a month. I don't feel comfortable using features such as port forwarding so I'm guessing there's an easy way to change my NAT type via the control panel but I'm not finding it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Guest Netduma_Iain
Hi Woof Dah, If you haven't changed anything on the other router. The simplest solution I reckon is reboot the router and the console & you'll probably see it open itself.
Woof Dah
Thanks Netduma_Iain, just so I'm clear, rebooting the router is just unplug it from the power source, i.e. there's no on/off switch, correct?
Guest Netduma_Iain
Not until version .7 which is not publicly available. So yes you're correct its just power out wait 10 seconds, power in
Woof Dah
Thanks, NAT type is back to open but now I've discovered another issue. Will post in a separate topic.
