Ok mate let me get .7 fixed then we'll address it. As a precaution can you try disabling IPv6 on LAN/WAN and misc linklock IPv6 as well please and try again.

still happening...whole network crashes about 9 times a night...

can't take it much more so removing the R1 from my network for the time being, i'll likely put it at the end of the tunnel... :(

nope, but i've been downloading TV shows the past week and this high utilization causes the complete network shutdown.

I've removed the R1 from my network 100% now.  I'm still downloading and have yet to run into the issue that would of happened 3 times by now.

Ok I'll look into it, can you use the wifi on the other device in the meantime please.

I am, I likely won't plug the R1 back in...if i do it will purely be to use on the xboxes under the WRT1900AC, can't deal with my wife asking me questions about our network anymore.  She doesn't comprehend the issue and doesn't know why I can't solve it...I can't try to explain it to her anymore, at the end of the rope before she stabs me

no worries, i think this is the lilstone issue to be honest.  It only happens when i'm using full bandwidth for extended periods of time...

Wifi will drop out fail, modem fails out...

rebooting modem solves...but my wife notices when i flash openwrt updates...(she's always on the internet)

no worries, I completely understand that the need of the many outweighs the needs of the few.  Not ever user has this problem because they don't over utilize their network like i do daily.
