Can't get the R2 to hard reset.

I was using the R2 as a switch, I switched ISP and this one allows me to use my own router instead of a proprietary gateway.

 

I've been trying to reset the hardware, it won't rest for me. 

Is there a light change to show that it is resetting? I've tried unplugging for 10 minutes, wai

ting 2 and then holding the rest button for a minute, then waiting 5 minutes, several times so far. 

What am I plugging the pc cable into? Wan or Lan port?

I've also changed my ethernet IP in the internet Protocol version 4 setting to

192.168.77.100

255.255.255.0

192.168.77.1

 

When it's set to auto, I get 

169.254.230.157

255.255.0.0

with no default gateway
