Netduma r3 vs eero pro 6

Recommended Posts

Everyone needs to stop wasting there time with this router gave this company a good couple of years with the xr500 and now this but after a year without a solid firmware and an absolute terrible bit of hardware it's clear this router will never be good enough. Everyone chasing these optimal settings need to give up and stop wasting your time. This router is terrible.

I've done everything on I've done everything off. I've manipulated so much on this router to try and get it to perform but my god you will forever be behind on time you will always get out gunned it's a shocking bit of kit with fake firmware updates that keep people wanting more instead of actual fixes. It's a hype train for everyone to try and get an advantage that doesn't exist.

Eero Pro 6 router no messing about no changing settings no terrible firmware updates that do nothing just a solid modern looking box with great WiFi range an insane throughput that can actually cope with 1gb Internet. This router without any messing beats this r3 router in every possible way. The r3 is a restriction on raw throughput

Thats what I'm asking myself everytime I have poor speeds. How come all routers, even cheap shit can handle properly PPPoE but netduma cant? Yea, in case if u want to have high speeds you have to use ISP router or whatever and after that netduma router. Crazy shit is that its double latency... Netduma has to process your packets after that its going to main router, processed there and after that goes to modem or whatever. this double processing thingy being suggested here by netduma staff team. how come such gaming router cant do PPPoE?????

another fun story is that you can suggest them games to be added to QoS and even do all hard work by giving them captures via wireshark but they dont add games that has been suggested year ago!!!!!!!!

HEAR ME OUT!!!!!!!!! GAMING ROUTER AND NO GAMES BEING ADDED TO QOS FOR 1+ YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is just hilarious as it is.

Feels like it should hit detection is perfect never feel like my player is running in sand and don't have to change any settings. You have advance firewall and a new qos feature that works really good automatically don't have to adjust anything manually it just works.....

You still get lag compensation which you truly can't get rid of even when you try and congest your line on the r3.

The only good thing with cod and r3 is the ability to pick a location so you have a higher ping but in all honesty with the eero pro 6 the hit reg is so much better that you don't feel like you need to try anything it just works.

I don't have a congested household so I can't vouch for that but I bet the eero pro 6 qos works better in a family house aswell

Yeah mate I'm pretty much done with netduma I think it's a fan base firmware chasing fix for junkies lol. (I used to be one) but every and I mean every firmware update since the r3 launch and every other router they have launched has had untold issues. A company should release a firmware to fix something and every firmware has fixed nothing zero fixes..... claims that things have been fixed but nothing has actually happened. This constant firmware update chasing stuff is mind boggling.  There should be a MASSIVE lawsuit for selling a device in such a state telling people they will fix it and then when nothing has been fixed in this time we should still be able to return this device.
