josh200505
Hi, I'm from Costa Rica, I haven't received my router yet but I have a few question, since I'm not in USA, I thing for me is going to be difficult get good lobbies in Central America, so till I have the router with me I will know for sure, anyways my question is, if I'm not sharing my Internet with nobody, Anti-flood is going to help me? if so, for 10/1.5 MB should I put 70 % for upload and download? this question is because most of the people are talking about connections like 50mb or so, so i don't have any idea for settings for a lower connection like mine, I hope you guys have a great day! Buds
Well if connection is only for you, would you also be using the connection to download / stream whilst gaming? If you were anything like me then I wouldn't use anything else whilst gaming. If not then no need to amend them to anything. If you are going to using the connection whilst gaming at same time then I would start with 70% and see how stable the ping is for you.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I use my connection just for gaming, I don't stream whilst gaming, my upload is not to good for that!

Yeah, makes perfect sense. You don't have to worry about the congestion control sliders then. Or else you could end up doing what I did and forgetting I had them at about 50% when I was downloading and then couldnt understand why downloads where slow the next day lol. Thanks Buds - that's exactly right. If you are solely using your connection to game then you will not need to use the congestion control features.
