regulator95
I can't find a game with and without the geo filter on. It keeps coming back and saying that connection to opponent has been lost. My NAT is open but the opponents NAT may be MODERATE or RESTRICTED. I am looking at the map and every time i see a big circle (which I assume is the opponent) it comes back with that message. Anyone else play fifa that is having issues? FYI I connected my old router and got a game right away
Guest Netduma_Iain
Hello mate, unfortunately Fifa does not auto research. So you have to press the button. If you see the players location and you're happy with it just drag the circle to allow it. I'll get one of our other customers to comment on it. Also our CEO plays it so I'll link him here. WIth the geo-filter disabled then you should be able to get a game be it a far distance obviously. So if you're not that suggests some sort of issue, maybe at Fifas end. Guest Netduma Luke
It's really important in Fifa that you don't set your circle too small - I recommend at least 1,000km - otherwise you can be waiting a while. This should still get you great connections on average.. As you've seen, Fifa send you back to the matchmaking screen when you don't get a match so you just need to be ready to search again.I found it worked wellto pause 10 seconds or so between searches because if you don't, the game will try to match you against the same player again as you'll both be searching at exactly the same time. I hope that helps

Guest Netduma Fraser
Sure Can you search now and see if you can get any games because it should be functioning like a normal router.
regulator95
Same problem. Just to confirm I played 2 games on my old router and it found each one in like 5 seconds. It finds an opponent on the netduma but then I get Connection lost
Guest Netduma_Iain
Hi, Sorry I don't mean to be repetitive, but have you tried to get games just now. Since you posted the geo-filter 31mins ago?
regulator95
Yes I did. That is what I meant by my previous post. I have the same issue. Connects to an opponent and then i get a connection lost message.
Guest Netduma_Iain
Ok well its not the geo-filter, so I guess it must be a port forwarding issue. Have you got an Open NAT?
regulator95
According to XBOX yes.. I haven't touched any of the port forwarding stuff since I got it yesterday. Should I add anything?

Guest Netduma_Iain
This is really confusing because the geo-filter is doing nothing. Can you hard reset the xbox please then try again.

regulator95
Turned off the XBOX and back on, I even setup port forwarding for all the ports XBOX live requires and no dice.. You can actually see the person it is connecting to, which is extremely close to me

Guest Netduma_Iain
Ok we resolved it by disabling ipv6 on the router. @netduma_fraser please put disable ipv6 or better yet toggle ipv6 as a critical feature request please.
A7Legit
Ok we resolved it by disabling ipv6 on the router. @netduma_fraser please put disable ipv6 or better yet toggle ipv6 as a critical feature request please. This was something I asked for, IPv6 caused issues for me with a VPN I used to use, wouldn't be surprised if IPv6 causes some VPN issues for others.
