Administrators Netduma Iain Posted January 20, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2018 Hi PuppetMaster, Firstly thanks for purchasing the xr500 and being a long term supporter of NetDuma. This issue is caused by either your firewall or a browser extension. Most likely the firewall. Can you try disabling the firewall temporarily and see if the problem goes away. If not then try your browser extensions. I've only seen this once before, the person was running bitdefender firewall.

Administrators Netduma Iain Posted January 20, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2018 Firstly does disabling it fix the issue? Just need to verify it's bitdefender. I'll go see what his final conclusion was, but I imagine it was simply adding an exception. For the next firmware update, I'll try get to the root cause. Administrators Netduma Iain Posted January 20, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2018 Ok so apprantely the issue is the following: "So problem is Bitdefender -> Firewall -> Settings -> Stealth Mode => ON" Does disabling stealth mode fix the issue? PuppetMaster
now just getting this Uncaught ReferenceError: topojson is not defined & 'd3' is not defined
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted January 20, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2018 Can you confirm that firewall off (even for just 30s) fixes the issue? Finally after turning off stealth mode try rebooting your computer. Then try the UI on chrome and Firefox. Which browsers does it work on? Both hopefully
PuppetMaster
Uncaught TypeError: c.draggable is not a function & Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'addWidget' of undefined getting this now. that's with bitdefender turned off. Administrators Netduma Iain Posted January 20, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2018 Oops I forgot to say you need to do a hard refresh. If you're on chrome press F12 to open dev tools. Then hold down the refresh button. Then select empty cache and hard reload. Do this after you've disabled stealth mode. Does that fix it? You may need to do this on all R-Apps to clear the cache bitdefender intercepted and broke
PuppetMaster
Fixed it. Went & turned off Smartscreen for windows store apps
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted January 20, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2018 Great! I think smart screen may be a coincidence. I think the solution is stealth mode off with hard refresh. Have lots of fun!
PuppetMaster
My firewall isn't through bitdefnder & now the error code is back. Uncaught ReferenceError: topojson is not defined
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted January 20, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2018 Im confused what firewall are you using? Are using the same computer and browser each time?
PuppetMaster
Yep im using the bitdefender antivirus and window defender firewall
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted January 20, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2018 Ok so I think the solution is as follows, for every computer do the following: - turn off stealth mode in bit defender - hard refresh each R-App in DumaOS Make sure you do the final step for each browser you use. That should work. Does it?
PuppetMaster
There is no stealth mode for me in bitdefender

Administrators Netduma Iain Posted January 20, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2018 So if you disable the bitdefender firewall and hard refresh all problems go away? Can you ask bitdefender support as they are causing the issue. I'll also reach out to them. Here is exception link I found: https://www.bitdefender.com/support/how-to-add-a-network-exception-in-bitdefender-2017-(i-cannot-access-a-device-on-my-network)-1792.html
