Change the host name of a static device?

We've tried as much as possible to hide IPs/MACs from the user. We will endeavour to do it more in the future, e.g. port forwarding by device name not IP.  On the "Device Manager" if you click edit at the top you can change the name and type. This is purely for the routers UI though.

It doesn't really make sense to me changing the hostname of the device, surely thats the OS job. Unless you mean change the name of the router itself. In which case that's a valid point.

indeed, you can change it here...but you should be able to change it everywhere.

Embedded Devices don't allow for you to edit the device name...this is handled via network routing (this extends to allowing me to declare local DNS entries)
