CDJW
I subscribe to Private Internet Access. Per the advice I read off a similar thread I've copied in the contents of the .opvn & .crt files off their website. I've also put in the <ca> and </ca> at the beginning and the end of the certificate. I was initially just getting a "failed to connect" message but then I tweeked something and received a rather lengthy log file which I don't seem to be able to copy. I'm doing this on a macbook pro running OS X 10.10.3. I do recall there was an issue with the PIA app being blocked after a recent update. I recall the solution was to change to a udp connection type and there was also a tweek to be done on the mac firewall. Suspect that the current issue might be related. Can anyone assist me please? Administrators Netduma Iain Posted April 27, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 27, 2015 I think the line "crl-verify crl.pem" could be the issue. Can you remove it & try again please.
CDJW
Thanks, it appears to be working now. I've applied a vpn to my macbook pro and my external ip address is now being reported as in the US. Thanks very much.
