I did notice yesturday that the Auto Ping was no longer working. I refereshed my browser and restarted my computer but that didn't help.

Could you try putting yourself in the middl of the ocean, setting the GeoFilter radius to as small as it goes and the ping assist as large as it goes. The search for a game and see if you find one. This would confirm weather it is working or not. Please also read through this thread and see if any of the recommendations in there fix your issue - the OP of that thread wanted to downgrade as he was having the same issue as you
