Akic
I was just running a security check of my network and noticed the R1 responds to pings to WAN ports as closed, most routers these days will just drop those packets which is known as stealth. People seem to think stealth is more secure than closed, personally I don't think so but that seems to be the prevalent thinking. Going forward do you think it might be better to adopt the stealth approach. As your user base grows you may get less tech savvy users complaining that the router is not as secure as others because it is not stealth. I say this more as a marketing thing than any true security offered by stealthiness, which is questionable. I'd be interested to know what you guys think. Guest Netduma_Iain
Thanks for letting me know Akic, I'll look into it for sure. I've just used the default OpenWRT settings but I'm sure its an easy fix to drop. I'll add an option in Misc with stealth to make us more l33t!
