MrRelentlessUK Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I'm getting a massage- something went wrong when trying to ping to host, I'm using Google chrome but have also used internet explorer and Safari as well, I have disabled the fire wall on windows and on Mcafee, I'm running the latest version and have rebooted the router as well, can anyone help me with this problem please?
Guest Netduma_Iain Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Shaker, can you also make sure you have disabled all computers on the VPN side. That should fix it
MrRelentlessUK Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 lain just disabled all computers on VPN and rebooted the router but still no joy
Guest Netduma_Iain Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 If you've disabled all VPN computers so they are all dark. Then it has to be an adblocker thats causing it, can you look around to see if there is anything.
MrRelentlessUK Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 I've looked through my settings everything seems fine, how can i find out that it could be a ad blocker and disable it?
MrRelentlessUK Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 I've had a look round my laptop and can't find any adblocker in place
Guest Netduma_Iain Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Shaker can you try ping using another device please? Does it work on any other devices for example laptop, tablet or on the console itself. Just want to isolate the device.
MrRelentlessUK Posted March 17, 2015 Author Posted March 17, 2015 Yes just tried it on my iPhone and iPad, Laptop and it's coming up with the same problem so least we know it's not just one device
