Guest Netduma Fraser
Will you support this ive been looking at a draytek vigor 130 modem to replace my sr102 sky hub but the R1 has no option 60.61 for sky MER users the r1 doesn't seem to play nice with the sr012 with them both being routers I would imagine that replacing the sky hub with the modem and then putting the R1 in the back of it would possibly work. However, if it doesnt we currently dont support MER authentication but it has been requested before. Did you put the R1 in the DMZ on the sky hub? RoyDavis77
Im with sky and have a this router/modem with the Duma attached and work fine. How did you manage to replace sky hub? i thought you could only have their router and their service blocked any other device. Im currently using my Sky broadband with the SR102 and my R1 in the DMZ. Buds
Has it been ok since Raddy? Not been with sky for a long time but pop into forums once in a while. I had read that once you had extracted details the connection would sometimes reset and you would have to repeat process (possibly with a dynamic IP change)? Its fine, installed a beta firmware and now no resets or dropouts. Its nice to be able to control everything instead of sky locking you out. Tonks
Hi, I have just switched to Sky VDSL yesterday. Previously I was with TalkTalk and had a Vigor 130 passing through PPPoE to the NetDuma. I have got the Vigor 130 connecting to Sky (MPoA) But it does not seem to pass through an IP to the NetDuma. What I have had to do is put the NetDuma on the local network of the Vigor (192.168.0.0/24) with the Vigor as its Gateway and I now get Internet. But I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to pass through the IP address from Sky (e.g. 151.12.34.56) so my Vigor is effectively in bridge mode, similar as it was with TalkTalk? Looking at the info here it suggests that it is possible to bridge from MPoA to PPPoE with the Vigor http://www.draytek.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=5346&Itemid=293&lang=en But according to the video (albiet for a 120) the Vigor should not pick up the IP address.
