Back
Just wanting to give a quick update on some issues I was having. So I had been running version 1.03.4 since it came out. I typically do not mess with my settings or anything, just set it and if it works keep on rolling. Primarily use the geofilter as I don't have a lot of things in my household killing my connection. A week or so ago (before the Black Ops 1 day connection update crap) I started getting some TERRIBLE connections out of no where. Went on for 2 days, skipping all over the place in game, laggy as can be, etc. It was beyond frustrating to say the least, rage inducting! Haha. So I removed my Duma and hardwired my Xbox directly to the modem to test.......low and behold my connections went back to being pretty good. This got me thinking and hopped on the Netduma forum to see if there had been other people experiencing this or if there had been an update. Then I see the new version was released 1.03.5. Went ahead and updated to the latest firmware, boom, good connections again. I did notice my NAT type was strict on Black Ops 3, then when checking my Xbox Network settings my NAT type was moderate. Another quick google search brought me to the Netduma Wiki page on NAT type. I followed the steps and after the update my Upnp needed checked. Did that, reset the console and I'm back on an open NAT. I just want to say you guys do a great job on an easy to use product. I have had a small issue or 2, but your customer support is very good as you guys have always been very quick to help. The step by step instructions for certain issues really helps out if people do follow them as outlined, at least in my case. So keep up the good work guys, just a random thumbs up from me
