Hello Netduma Team,
I am using a Netduma R1 running DumaOS 3.0.205.
My router was working perfectly for years. The issue started immediately after I attempted to downgrade the firmware and then upgraded back to the latest version.
Since then, the following Rapps no longer work:
Geo-Filter
Ping Heatmap
Network
System Information
The rest of DumaOS works normally and the router still provides internet access without any issues.
I have already tried:
Factory Reset
Multiple Reboots
Flush Cloud
Reinstalling firmware
Downgrading and upgrading again
Clearing browser cache
Setting Rapp retries to 5
None of these steps resolved the issue.
The logs show repeated GeoFilter crashes:
/usr/bin/geoip failed with 139
installing geoip failed
Giving up restarting 'com.netdumasoftware.geofilter'
Cloudsync Geofilter result 'true', 'Cloud is up to date'
The system repeatedly attempts to restart GeoFilter and eventually gives up.
Based on the logs, it appears that the geoip component is crashing during startup, possibly due to corrupted files or a firmware inconsistency caused by the downgrade process.
Could you please advise if there is:
A recovery image for the R1
A way to reinstall the geoip/geofilter components
A full recovery procedure beyond a normal firmware reinstall
Thank you for your help
