  1. After flashing the latest official firmware, this is what I see in the router menu: System Info: Uptime: 19:17:29 up 1:37, load average: 1.09, 0.72, 0.56 Router Time: Sat Jan 17 19:17:29 UTC 2026 Board Model: XR700 Firmware Version: V1.0.2.62 DumaOS Name: A7Legit There is no DumaOS version shown starting with 3.3 anywhere in the UI. is there any more information available about the XR700 firmware v1.0.2.62 (A7Legit)? I can’t find any user feedback, changelogs, or discussions about this update anywhere online, only the brief “security fixes” note from Netgear. Has anyone tested it in detail or knows what was actually changed?
  2. DLNA missing after updating to XR700 FW 1.0.2.62 Hi everyone, I’ve had my XR700 for 8 years and I’m really happy with it. Until recently, I was running BETA FIRMWARE 3.3.363, which worked really well. I noticed on Netgear’s official site there’s a new firmware: XR700 Version 1.0.2.62 Release Date: October 27, 2025 Security Fixes: Fixes security vulnerability issues After installing it, I noticed the DLNA media server is gone. This was a very convenient feature – all my TVs could see the USB drive connected to the router. Now it’s only visible on my Windows 11 PC. So my questions are: Was removing DLNA an intentional decision? Could something have gone wrong during the update, and is it worth trying to install the firmware again? Is the final FW 1.0.2.62 based on BETA 3.3.363, or is it a completely different build? Would it make sense to go back to the beta firmware if I want DLNA functionality? Thanks in advance for any advice! Admin note: I’m happy for the moderators to decide whether this should be merged into the existing beta firmware discussion thread or kept as a new topic.
