Do you mean the Geo-Filter or Ping Heatmap? If you mean Heatmap that's something we can resolve easily via the cloud - it won't impact your ability to use the Geo-Filter

If you're connecting to far servers then you should definitely try with the Geo-Filter to get lower ping servers closer to home. Then just your usual Congestion Control settings to eliminate local congestion and prioritizing your device should do the trick.
