i have connected most of my devices to the EE router. The congestion control is on, I have tried using traffic prioritisation, which did not change anything, i am still getting huge spikes in game.

i doubt not using congestion control or traffic prioritisation would be causing the issue because everything was the way it was before the packet loss issue started.

I tested Ethernet and wifi on my EE its perfectly fine, no packet loss. Note, this did not happen a month ago, and I did not change anything.

It spikes up to 15-20% packet loss sometimes, i dont play casually, i play competitively so this is a big deal for me, this is just a website i found online by Looking up "fortnite packet loss test" but my main source os measurement is in game stats whjere every second i am getting packet loss it is NEVER on 0 i usually get 4% -5% rarely under 3 and sometimes over 10. Nothing is happening on the network, I am the only one connected to it. Media bridge mode is when traffic is directly forwarded to the xr, the extender doesn't create a separate network. Yes my setup is ee router, xr1000, asus extender via bridge mode, then pc by Ethernet. The extender is connected to xr via wifi 6. I have put the xr1000 in dmz mode on the EE. Most of my devices are connected to EE router so xr is not congested. i pay for 300 up and 45 down, i have set those speeds on my router, i have set up congestion control that is working fine. i dont touch bandwith allocation as i had some problems with that in the past

Insane packet loss when playing any game. I mostly play Fortnite. This started last month. I tried resetting the route, but nothing worked. I tried different cables. I do have an Asus extender connected to the xr1000 via bridge mode my pc is fed into the port on the extender. Note this has never happened before and just occurred on its own. I have also tried flashing update and rollin g back to a different update. i also get a higher ping on average compared to connecting to my EE router's Wi-Fi.

I tried a different game the finals, the geo filter doesnt put me in a server thats in my radius but rather a server thats outside my radius when i enter the loading screen it takes a min or 2 to kick me 1/5 times i get into a game.

Geo filter now works, but the matchmaking is the same as mentioned, once a blocked server is detected it boots me out of the matchmaking after just one blocked server, so i have to manually re que

before i had all these issues, the geo filter would work fine with fortnite, only issue was i had to manually re-que when it blocked the server because it would kick me out the matchmaking.

Tested geo filter, geo filter does not wotk, i tried rebooting router, i added device correctly.

fixed issue entiely, What i did was go to that link that u sent to access duma os, typed in the serial number, manually flashed/update again to latest release, then reset the router, that solved my problem heatmap is now working will test geo filter soon. Appreciate the effort helping with this matter.

Hey again , i havent managed to connect the xr directly to ONT yet, so indtead i tried resetting the router, when i was on the set up page it the page stopped responding, but somehow the xr was still set up even tho i didnt finish setting it up, now i cant log into duma os using the user or password i tried getting in through using the serial number of the xr but i just get that message, i tried turning off and on the router already.

i most defenetly think this is the xr's fault as before i reset the router everything was fine other than the packet loss, but i will give a try soon, people are using the network right now.

The last time i had the xr use pppoE qos didnt work, or is this just a temporary thing?

The EE router doesnt have an option to completely disable firewall. only option there is is upnp and dmz

it doesnt seem to dowload from the cloud at all tho, geo filter doesnt work nor ping heatmap which im guessing both require the cloud, in the message it says cloud data has not been dowloaded, how do i dowload the data, forcing update does nothing, no im not able to switch modem to bridge mode it was working fine before
