Ok I disabled geo-latency and kept my Texas filter.  Battlefield is unable to connect to anything, I see all the other servers trying to connect but it ultimately fails.  Its looking like the dallas and atlanta servers are not active.

But now I have a question.  What is the purpose of strict mode if having geo-latency bypasses it?

There are multiple issues I am seeing with connections to BF6

    1. Oklahoma always showing as the server (this appears to have been fixed)

    2. Dallas and Atlanta servers not connectible (Not sure if this is a duma issue or EA issue)

    3.  Servers allowed to connect outside of the selected region with strict mode enabled and ping assist off. (I always connect to a server in VA or CA).  As the server starts to connect it shows up as a yellow triangle like its being blocked but then it allows it.

My PC is also setup as a console

Ping Heatmap just shows you what servers the game has, it's not a guarantee that every server you see is connectable. If they're close to you then I should think you would be able to connect to them yes.

I've noticed that BF6 seems to want to force me into other servers. When I can confirm that I'm connected to Auburn VA (I'm in MA) the game is much better - but lately it's been connecting to San Jose and other servers, with pings over 100 at times.
It has been showing Dublin a lot, which I understand is authentication only - but there are times where it gets a ping from Dublin at 110 or soemthing, and then steady ping tries to bump up my ping to high 80s and it makes for a bad time.
I realize what you guys have been trying to accomplish, and that's why I ended up getting the R3... But with VPNs ruining any type of geofencing and a lot of games giving a lot of "help" to high ping players, I think it really comes down to the fact that we need game devs to do a better job with connection management.
I WISH I had netduma back in the Halo 2/3 days!
