Thank you for info i will disable it for interface. After reading a bit on the beta forum i think its best i wait for bugs and issues to be fixed since i dont have a spare router incase things go sideways.

Steam has settings under the downloads to throttle speeds maybe that is doing it.When steam is open look at bottom and click manage downloads then you should see a gear in top right corner click it and should open a menu called downloads. Make sure throttle speeds is not enabled and set region to closest to you. you can disable some other things on that menu to help speeds also but will have to test for best results.

Just picked up a xr1000v1 its hard to find updates for this router i have come across this forum after hours searching for info on net gear official forum. Is it better to upgrade to a different router? ive requested the beta firmware in hopes to see full potential of the router before i move on because it seems this is still on an old firmware. So far things seem ok besides getting attached error when opening the ping feature and the geo filter feature. Error: The operation is taking longer than expected.
