The test results are unfortunately during congestion hours for my area's ISP, so the download speed usually fluctuates down a bit during these hours vs the normal 920-950mbps max i have ever received. Also doesnt help that technicians have told me i am literally the last house on the line in my neighborhood. I run an Arris SB8200 modem, router connected to modem by the ethernet cable provided with the XR100, then CAT6 cable from my router to PC. I have not messed with any settings within the modem (did not know you could change modem settings). I am also not familiar with what DMZ, modem/bridge mode are, sorry! Most of my router settings are default besides using Cloudflare as my DNS servers -

After resetting the Bandwidth Allocation it has bumped up to an average of 715mbps download now on Speedtest.net, but still not full speed. I have not set any Traffic Controller rules or put anything in DMZ that im aware of. Went into WAN setup and DMZ box is unchecked -

Speedtest within DumaOS will get full speeds, but testing on Speedtest.net results in half of download speed. Only when i completely disable QoS do i get full speeds on Speedtest.net -

That seemed to have fixed it, thank you! It does not work for DumaOS Classified Games. Also, my congestion control is set to never with both sliders at 100% during times when minimal bandwidth is being used in the household to game...is it still supposed to automatically cut my download speed in half from 950mbps to to around 500mbps under the parameters ive set? Id like to achieve my maximum speeds during these times while still using traffic prioritization -
Traffic prioritization doesnt seem to recognize when i play Halo Infinite on Steam. If it randomly does, it quickly stops working whether i have congestion control set to always, auto-enable, or never. I added my PC (MasterChief) as the device and the target to "games console", load into matchmaking and the 2 black dots never turn red and download/upload packets never increase that it recognizes the internet traffic. Is there a reason Halo Infinite is not a game to select for traffic prioritization? Should i be using specific ports instead under the advanced tab instead of just "games console"? Or is Halo Infinite traffic prio just broken for the XR1000/DumaOS?

@mikestro1I have been having major issues with my ISP recently (Spectrum...go figure 🤣), which the problem has been so bad ive had techs out many times. The local manager ended up giving me his cell phone number for a direct contact to help figure things out and keep updated with the repair process. First it was a local node that needed replaced...still was having issues after fixing. Finally they figured out a main line in my area had a crack in it and had to be replaced. I was plagued w/ constant packet loss and extremely slow speeds especially during peak congestion hours. With that being said, this was more of a way for me to confirm that things were actually fixed on their end. The slow speeds on my PC was messing with my head thinking they never actually fixed the problem lol. I bought the router and an Arris Surfboard SB8200 modem recently to upgrade from old hardware since they had huge discounts running on Amazon. I am new to the QoS benefits for bufferbloat etc, so i will def be looking into the best settings the XR1000 has to offer for gaming! Thanks for your input Mike! Any specific Youtube links that you would recommend?

I pay for 1000down/42up internet speeds. I achieve 950down/42up speeds when i direct connect my PC to modem using a brand new CAT6 ethernet cable. When connecting my PC using the same ethernet cable to my XR1000 router, the max speeds i can get on my PC is about 650down/42up (sometimes lower). I have the speeds set in the router to the 950/42 since i havent seen it ever be any higher. Ive tried swapping out the ethernet cable that comes with the router to connect the router to the modem thinking that might be an issue. No fix. I do competitive gaming on Halo Infinite and would like to achieve my max speeds since the routing in Florida is horrible to their servers. I have tried factory resetting multiple times with up to date firmware and still have the same issue. QoS is off and traffic prioritization for PC is on while gaming. Is there some other settings i should be enabling/disabling that is limiting my speeds? Edit: I think i resolved the issue. QoS was technically still on (i had "never" selected), after completely disabling it using the three lined drop down box, speeds returned to normal!
