Here are the logs from my most recent disconnect: R3_2025-07-24T00_59_20.496Z_logs.txt

Alright, it's happening again. This time I got d/c'ed 3 times before and after only playing one match. Then a fourth a match later after disabling geo-filter. I don't think I'm losing internet connection entirely because my discord stays up.

I actually disabled BI classification (based on your suggestion from a similar post) and it hasn't happened yet since. But it has been happening with multiple devices and I have been using Geo-Filter most of the time, though not all the time. I'll keep you posted.

I lose connection to the Internet on my MSI Stealth Studio when playing Black Ops and other games. I'm using a wired connection. It tends to happen several times when I first try to play and then evens out to where I can play a few consecutive matches.

No, they were all outside my filter. Mostly St. Louis, Texas, Chicago, Atlanta, etc. I will say that the last few searches have resulted in the correct server. Fingers crossed this continues...

Is there a way to send you the video privately? Rather not publicly post my IP

I've been adding them to my deny list as I get connected to them. I think it's been about 11 so far. Hopefully I'll get them all soon

Yes, it still happens with simple selected. See in the screenshot how St. Louis is the only server shown in the map

That didn't quite work! I was doing all but using simple instead of custom radius. I think part of the problem is that I'm playing Ranked early-ish in the morning (instead of a more widely played mode) and it takes a long time to find a match. It seems like the program "gives up" searching for a match within my radius after a certain amount of time (~3 minutes), and it's basically always St. Louis servers. Is there a way these servers somehow bypass the filter?
-
Generally, no. I did notice that I can't change the settings while already in-game. This occurs even if I've freshly restarted the game/my computer/my router.

Merry meowmas indeed. I'm not seeing any such notification. I don't even see it try to connect to a certain server. My workaround has been just babysitting the queue and when I see it start searching 60 ping, I cancel the search. It can take 15-20 minutes before finding a local match. I've kept it in strict mode at all times.

I created a custom geo-filter for Black Ops 6 (Steam) that seems to stop working at different times of day. I might get a string of 5-10 games that are within my filter and another 5-10 games that are consistently outside the filter. Multiple times, I have tried: Quit the game back to console dashboard Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync the cloud Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up your settings Wait 2 minutes Boot up the game No avail. It particularly likes to throw me in St. Louis servers (like 99% of the time) for some reason. Looks like it initially looks for West Coast servers and then gives up and connects me to St. Louis. I'm on an MSI Stealth Studio.

Sorry for the delayed response, but I was finally able to get it to work. Thanks!
