I just did that, but I'm still having the same issue. The connection drops, but PingPlotter can still ping Google just fine. However, if I try to access Google via a browser during the disconnection, it doesn’t work. And no problem with AP mode 

Clear your browser cache/cookies, it may have updated but the number is cached on the old one. If it didn't upgrade make sure you upgrade via ethernet and see if it works then

Thanks for the quick reply! - I just tried but still not having any luck. My search just hangs and doesnt actually start searching for any game. As I said, it still works on the current CoD but no luck on the beta. I'm on PC using the Battle.net version

To get internet and to use the features correctly it must be connected via the WAN port. You probably just need to do some port forwarding to get it working, consult their website/connection troubleshooting and it should tell you what to do.
