No it wasn't, always check the change log of the update, if it's not mentioned then it wasn't added.
That's what I was told by the devs, I don't know think the light would need to come on for it to work but I will pass it on again for them to look into it more

We haven't made an update to fix it but we will be. Apparently from what I've been told: If you keep trying it then it can work, our estimates are that it works about 70% of the time so if it doesn't work first time there is a good chance it'll work again. Otherwise, it's quite possible depending on the device you're trying to use that it may not be compatible with WPS on the router.
