I was able to get it fixed! I downgraded the software and reinstalled the newest software and factory reset everything after that and that seemed to do the trick. Not sure if something messed up when I upgraded software but the issue seems to be resolved and I’m now able to play the game. Thank yall so much for helping me

I used ping blotter and ima be 100% honest I didn’t know what I was looking at but I did notice that there was red lines from what I’m assuming means it jumped to 200if you get the problem fixed

i did everything and it is still the same or even some what worse.

im still confused on how it can be the modem when i play on anything else im fine but my only issues are when im on this router, yea the modem prolly isnt the best but it just got put in yesterday and when i play strictly on the modem with my ethernet plugged into im fine

i keep trying random stuff tweaking with things that i can and nothing seems to be helping. i tried lower congestion down to 50% and that didnt seem to help at, tried turning steady ping on and off doesn't help I've tried everything.

geo filter is using precise location, and the tv upstairs' is i turned it off and got same results. and im using 100% of the congestion control settings

im just very frustrated and wanna get this resolved asap i work from home and i compete online so i really need the best i can get and i cant be affording to not be able to count on my internet to get my work done and compete online at a high lvl.

i just tried factory resetting the router and i went to do my speed test and even those are lagging and my speeds are 10 upload and 70 down when i should be gettting around 1000 and 25 upload. i understand that it might upset the game while doing the ping test but it stayed that way even after it was done i clossed the app 2x unplugged the router and everything, i skipped everything while setting it up this team and still lagging, im not sure what else to do. should i go downgrade the software ??

I’m not sure I understand your question. I was just playing cod and my bullets felt pretty good at beginning and it slowly started to get worse with ping increasing not sure if it was just servers cuz of ranked play or what not but I was like oh I forgot optimize my ping after they put in a new modem so I went back over to duma os and optimized my ping in the middle of the private match just testing things out and I instantly starting packet loss and ping latency up top of the screen in game and couldn’t move and it went back to normal then 5 seconds does it again then again again.

Well thanks for you help, I’ll try downgrading and see if that works and if I don’t end up getting any help ima just file a dispute with my bank, seems like there’s many other people having my issue and the people willing to help troubleshoot and fix things is slim to none. But I do appreciate your help.

and yea our tv runs off the internet too and thats usually the only other thing going and its working fine as well as the game when im not on the new router.

im not sure how to downgrade and i can try that but i just think its the router i can tell right away when im loading into games and stuff its gonna act up.

yea this router is working fine so like i confirmed its the router, idk if i just messed up something while setting it up but it is a night and day difference between the two, the netduma r3 has me skipping around the map every 4-8 seconds and the router i had for like 8 years is perfect

Currently trying to hook up my other router up. And I’m using the newest firm 0.41 or what ever it is. And yea I factory reset with the old modem we had thinking that was the problem when I optimized my ping.

and i didnt ask for this modem our internet provider is not the best i will agree but i seem to have more problems playing on the router then the free junk of a modem they give us then a 240 router i just bought

i had a tech come out and switch our modems to this one cuz i wanted to use the router and my main source of internet. it was perfectly fine since the tech left and the up into the morning before i decided to optimize my ping in duma os. i highly doubt its that big of a coincidence once i optimize my ping and do steady ping i start having problems.....

then why do i plug my ethernet into my modem and disconnect the router no ping spikes and it works perfectly fine?

i also have smart boost on and gaming as top priority, with my pc being the priority device

is there a way you can hop in a discord call so i can better explain, i just got off the phone with our internet provider and he pretty much confirmed its the router i plugged ethernet into modem and everything was fine besides when i plug in router. and i how i measure the packet loss and latency is in game when im skipping around not able to play in my own private match. The modem is an arris TM3402 and i am directly plugged in from router to modem.

bought my netdumar3 about a week, week and half ago and have nothing but problems, works fine for the first day then woke up and gaming was unplayable getting packet loss and red high latency every 4-8 seconds. Had a tech come out and give us a new modem and it worked fine for the first day and then i went to optimize my ping using duma os today as soon as i did that everything went back to hell, i dont know what else to do, bout to ask for a full refund and ship this piece of junk back
