So just plug R3 into the WAN port “blue” on Fritzbox ? anything special in config in Fritzbox or just let R3 pick dhcp ip or use static?

Well it is not really an ethernet cable RJ45 type ... it is like a phone line RJ11 from what I see ... left side TAE they call it is on the wall socket and the right side into the router... Anyone from Germany here to support? is there a cable to buy that converts TAE to Ethernet? RJ45 that has 8 cables not just 2? would that work or it has to be always 2 cables internally ?

Thanks I translated that I have an option in FritzBox to allow PPPoE path through that might allow R3 to dial which I might try also...

Hi Guys, I'm just starting with NETDUMA R3 and I remember I have seen few posts before around PPPoE but better to ask directly. I have Telekom VDSL with my own Fritzbox installed so that is my modem/router and now I have R3 ... I tried to use the phone line cable directly into the WAN port "blue one" on the R3 and added all the login details and VLAN ID etc but the Internet never came up. is it that R3 does not have a modem at all or I just need to figure out my PPPoE settings if something was missing? if R3 does not have modem why does it have PPPoE option in the software? any help will be greatly appreciated. I don't want to buy any more devices Fritzbox was already expensive enough and I want to remove it and only use R3 directly. I have installed R3 after the Fritzbox for now and that works fine but I think I can do better without FritzBox...is there a cheap modem out there that can be used instead of Fritzbox in case R3 does not run PPPoE natively ? don't want to spend too much money...

Hi @fraser R3 ordered and on the way … plan to setup PPPoE too, could you please dm me the firmware that has VLAN issue fix?
