I am confused by your last response, so why wont they Netgear release firmware update when you guys have made it?? Has it happened in the past?

Is the current build you feel is the final beta that will be moved over the official build from Netgear?

I know you dont give out ETA but curious how long after beta typically netgear will make the build officially available based on past histroy? I see this beta is avialable for 6 months now, so hoping final build will be ready soon to be delivered by Netgear? When they deliver the final build do I need to do the intermediatory step as recommended for this beta?

I replied to your comment, I dont see the option to select DNS on HybridVPN page. can you confirm if its enabled on this beta build? When do you plan to officially release this firmware?

Can you check if the most recent beta has this option enabled? if yes I will try to install it on my router.

I checked and I dont see the icon you are referring to on my Hybrid VNP page. I am running XR500 V2.3.2.134 Is there any other way to add DNS to only VPN traffic?? Maybe updates to the configuration file?

So in this firmware is the DNS leak issue fixed? Imy xr500 running latest firmware from Netgear and have configured hybridVPN with NordVPN settings, my devices are getting IP address from my VPN server but DNS from my ISP, its leaking DNS, this issue was first reported in 2019 on this forum and I am shocked it still persists. please tell me how to fix this.

OK I bought xr500 new router because xr1000 does not have hybrid vpn yet. I configured the openvpn client on the router with nordvpn setup and everything works great, i get ip address different that my ISP but to my shock with I did DNS leak test, I see all my ISP DNS servers.. so its leaking DNS. dont search on this forum I see this was reported back in 2019, seems its still not FIXED? I am running latest firmware from Neatgear website for xr500. Please let me know how to fix the situation, yes I can use my NORDVPN DNS server in router setting but then this routes all traffic via there server not just the ones I need too from my list of devices. Not idea atall.

Signed up for beta, will this beta have Hybrid VPN option for X1000? Its unbelievable you dont have this in xr1000 but have it in xr500, so ended up buying 2 routers, right now using xr500 as it has vpn option.
