vpn "sbmmoff" and netduma r3 - does it actually work?

After a long break since my first post on this topic, I've been sitting and fiddling with VPNs a lot, trying to figure out whether VPNs actually make any difference in the lobby. First of all, the most important thing is a program that I managed to find called "WZagent" which can be purchased and downloaded only from their official discord. This is a program that shows in real time the kd of the lobby, the frags scored by everyone, their score, damage, who is alive in the lobby and much more. I'm not 100% sure if this program is legal, but it has a lot of users and I haven't heard of anyone getting banned for using it, but from what I know, it's the only way to check your lobby. So, after many tests, my normal kd is 3.2 and for the most part my lobbies are at 1.1 - 1.4 kd. After running sbmmoff on Kenya, the kd of my lobbies is from 0.7 - 1.0, however, sometimes it happens that the lobby level was higher than 1.0kd, but it happened relatively rarely. So sbmmoff definitely works and makes lobbying easier. I also tested NoLagVpn and unfortunately it is a much worse option compared to SBMMoff. First of all, it doesn't make that much of a difference in the lobby, and it also significantly increases ping. I have no idea how sbmmoff works, but after turning it on and going to the game tab settings>account and network>network information, it shows the "geographical region" in the city in the country to which I connected via sbmmoff, and after loading the match I have a ping normal, as if I didn't use any VPN and through geologization in netduma OS I see that it connects me to regular servers located closest to my actual location. According to this, I first thought that this VPN did not work at all, because it connected me as usual, but the lobby level showed a significant difference and WZagent confirmed it. So, to sum up my post created almost 2 months ago, there is a difference in the lobby with smbboff and unfortunately, as my colleagues wrote above, it is not the case that no matter what VPN we buy, the effect will be the same so it is not worth overpaying - it is not true because, first of all, the difference in the lobby is not that big at all and the ping increases significantly, while in sbmmoff it is not different at all. -
vpn "sbmmoff" and netduma r3 - does it actually work?

Hello everyone. I wanted to ask if any of you used a vpn called "sbmmoff" to buy from the website of the same name. I read a little about the operation of VPNs in general and whether they really have any impact on finding easier lobbies, and the only positive opinions I found were about VPNs sbmmoff and NoLagVpn - however, apparently the latter also had many negative opinions that it did not work, while they recommended sbmmoff. Can anyone comment on this matter? is it worth buying? How does it work with R3 netduma and does it really give any advantage in finding weak lobbies? -
I cannot download the latest Netduma R3 update - DumaOS 4.0.41. Why?
9396264 replied to 9396264's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Really? I don't know how I didn't think about it. The router was restarted and the update was downloaded without any problems. Thank you for your help, topic can be closed. -
Hello everyone. I tried to download the latest update, but unfortunately I get the error "Couldn't download Firmware." or "Unknown Error". I tried to update via my smartphone and by logging in to the netduma software in a web browser using my IP and my login and password. Does anyone know what could be the reason why I can't update my software to the latest version?

How do you know that? Yesterday, after almost 2 hours of trying to connect to the Polish server, I managed to connect once, and you're right, the lobby on this server seems to be much weaker than on others. I have a kd level of 3.2 (I don't know about the resurgence because it can't be checked yet) and it throws me into a sweaty lobby very often, but here in Poland we won the game practically without any difficulties. I'm posting snippets of it here, you can check and judge for yourself. I'm just wondering how you knew that the lobby in Poland is much weaker if you can't connect to this server? While playing since Warzone 1, I have never found this server, even though I live next to it, and I know this because I have never had such a low ping as yesterday when I forced a connection to Poland via geolocation. I had an identical problem, @Netduma Fraser mentioned my thread, I'm posting a link to it, you can read it https://forum.netduma.com/topic/52815-geo-filter-is-not-working-for-me-in-cod-warzone/ regarding the settings you have, I had the same ones when I finally managed to connect to this server, but it only happened once, I tried a lot of other settings, resets, etc. and nothing helped, in about 2 hours of searching for a game I only managed to do it once , so this server is simply unplayable. @Netduma Fraserwrote that you can force this connection but you have to wait a long time, but in practice there is no point in connecting to this server because you will only waste time waiting for the lobby instead of enjoying the game. Additionally, according to Fraser it's the server's fault, not the router's, and he's certainly right, but I was contacted by a user who had r2 and is now using r3, and according to him, he connected to this server on r2 without any problems, but on r3, there are problems. I don't know what to think about it anymore, it's really a pity about this server, because, as you wrote, I got a much weaker lobby on it and I also have the lowest possible ping in the game. I just hope that one day this will change and we will be able to comfortably connect to this server without any problems. bot lobby na polsce.mp4

geo-filter is not working for me in cod: warzone
9396264 replied to 9396264's topic in Netduma R3 Support
However, you are right, r3 is my first router with geolocation and before, when I played, it never connected me to Warsaw, and I know this because I always had a ping of 30-50max, and yesterday, when I managed to force a connection to the server in Poland for the first time, I had ping 22. I don't understand why this happens and there are servers with which I practically cannot connect even though they are right under my nose. It's a pity that this is the case, because my main reason for buying r3 was that I thought I would be able to play on a server in my country, but unfortunately this is not possible because it simply won't find this match for me. Thank you for your help and your answers, best regards. -

That's not true, I don't live in England, I live in Poland. The distance to the server in Warsaw is about 250 km as the crow flies and this is definitely the server closest to me. Unfortunately, it is practically unplayable because connecting with it is almost impossible. -

Okay, I understood. And can you tell me how can I check popularity of a given server? -

I did as you suggested, set the ping to 0 and turned off Geo-Latency and finally, for the first time, I managed to connect to my server. I just don't know why I had a ping of 22, and my friend with the cheapest router had a ping of 15. However, when I tried to load the lobby further, I decided that there was no point in geolocation for now - it practically doesn't search for a match at all, and when it does, by some miracle, it finds one. then you have to wait 20-25 minutes. Are there any systems that can speed up this process? Or are there any updates planned to improve the search for a match in a specific location? Because at the moment there is no point in using geolocation and forcing connection to a specific server. I also wonder why my friend had a lower ping than me with the R3 router. -

After increasing the ping assist to 50, after quite a long wait it finally found a match, unfortunately in London with 42 ping. I decided to additionally test disabling the steady ping option with ping assist 25, but it still does not prepare a match. -

I have the same problem, the geofilter doesn't work at all for me, it connects me to all servers except the one I indicated, the one closest to me. I described my problem in a separate post in the "R3 support" section.

Hi. Today my r3 came to me, after a quick and simple configuration I decided to test it in battle. I set the geofilter to connect to a server in my country where according to ping heatmap I should have a ping of 9-13. However, out of a dozen or so games, I have never connected to the server I indicated in the geofilter. I blocked every server with which I was connected (deny function) so that it would finally connect me to my server, but instead it connected me to SAUDI ARABIA and although according to the geofilter it showed me a good connection and a ping of 40, in fact in the game I had 117 and there were noticeable lags. Can you do anything for me about this? I ran the geofilter before the game, during the game, restarted Warzone, the router - it didn't help, still the same effect. Can anyone help me with my problem? Why does it connect me to every other server except the one I indicated? Why did it connect me to Saudi Arabia and even though the netduma website showed me ping 40, in reality I had almost 120 and terrible lag? Thank you in advance for any help.

Hello everyone! I am thinking about purchasing the latest version of the netduma 3 router, but first I wanted to get some information about this router. First of all, this will be my first router with geolocation. Currently playing Warzone/MWIII I have 30-40 ping, so it's probably not that bad. I live in the south of Poland. I talked to a friend who has an older version of "Netgear Nighthawk XR1000" with geolocation and is currently connecting to a server in the capital of Poland, Warsaw. Its ping is 7. If I buy the latest netduma r3 router, can I be sure that I will also have such a ping? Does it make sense to buy this router if I have a ping of 30-40 without packet loss? Another thing is that I mainly play ranked, currently I'm in crimson. I almost always get someone from the top 250 in the lobby, sometimes even several, and it's very difficult to get anything done. When watching various top-ranked streamers, they almost always have lobbies that are unreachable at this level. They get bronze, silver and gold in the lobby, of course with a ping below 10. Is this also due to the geolocation router? By using netdum r3 and connecting to the nearest server, will I also have a chance to get into such a lobby? I have read many times here on this forum replies from administrators that using geolocation does not omit sbmm, but somehow top streamers have much weaker lobbies than they should have. How is it possible? and what's the deal with geolocation - does it allow for a weaker lobby or not? The next thing is, when connecting to the nearest match server, does it load as fast as without geolocation or do you have to wait longer for the lobby to be filled? I would like to avoid a situation where I spend 230 euros on netdum r3 and have to wait several minutes for one match. Next: I currently have the cheapest router in the WiFi 6 standard - 802.11ax and sometimes it happens that when watching TV two rooms away, the resolution drops due to a drop in the Internet connection. Will this router improve my connection stability? Does it have good range? Thank you very much in advance for all your help and answers.
