Hi there, Today, i wanted to use netduma again after my holiday. I noticed upon turning it on that it gets stuck on bootloop. See also video. I tried to restart it with the button on the back - without success. Tries to reset to factory settings via the pin hole - still no success. Can anyone please help me? Thank you! 20250125_160246.mp4

Can you add me please

I have disabled steady ping which helped a bit. Still laggy but playable. @Netduma Frasercan we get info about this? Is this indeed buggy at the moment (steady ping)
-
I am using wired thus wifi is not applicable

37ms so pretty good. Without netduma there is no ingame lag/stutter. It especially occurs when an opponent is in front of me. Could it be because of that player uses vpn or something?

took a little longer to report back but here it is. I am now on v4.0.41 and notice as of today there is again the in-game lag in cod. This was not the issue 2 days ago and I am so confused what is happening? please do not reply with the regular config stuff as i have done so as previous posts suggested. Bufferbloat is rated as an A though. see also here: https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat?test-id=6e8529e6-ff45-4938-8aaa-1b07624df2a2 any thoughts?

Turned off ipv6 and it is smoother testing it out today/ tomorrow and will report back.

Hi, I tried v0.40 at first it seemed good (geo NL thus my location). But there is still the same issue which is ingame lag. The cpu is not spiking as the previous version though. Any thoughts what else i can do as the ingame lag is unbearable. Thank you.

If that is the case i am willing to wait but only if my warranty for able to return the product is formally and via my email is extended to additional one month. @Netduma Fraser Can you help me with that at least?

Hi, sharing the following and my conclusion. As I use fiber, i removed my modem/router from my ISP and thus connected the R3 directly. After this, did the buffer bloat test which resulted in a C grade. Anyhow, restart of R3 > still C grade. Next i checked the CPU usage and pingplotter to see what happens. I did this with and without gaming. see also image Conclusion: CPU is hitting peak for CPU0 and CPU2 and in game tremendous lag today. I do not believe the issues are because of any settings as i believe it is the hardware which causes this. Curious to see your reply @Netduma Fraser as this will be the deciding factor for me whether i return the product or not. I am not trying to be negative but the device should work as intended from the get-go (steady ping, low latency) which isn't working for me. Maybe I am unlucky compared to others but for the price you pay it should not become a situation where we need to do stuff in the forum and you @Netduma Fraser trying to mitigate it. I truly feel for you and appreciate you always responding calmly and respectful. Looking forward to your final response. Thanks.

weird that with R3 latency is al over the place. Without it (right 👉 , wired directly via modem/router) no such thing. Is my device just broken? a RMA? @Netduma Fraser i only purchased this product to make sure that i am only connected to servers nearby (Geofencing) but dann it. I am disappointed as any product with its slogans should work out-of-the-box in my opinion. if you say it is my ISP then i am going to appeal for return of the product. Can't waste more time as it has been one week trying things out. Thank you for your understanding.

i've installed ping plotter but do not know what i have to do. other then that i am not sure why i need to install 3rd party software all the while R3 is suppose to work out of the box? @Netduma Fraser I bought this product and while everything works the in game lag is something that i can best check with tech support. how can i check the cpu load of the router?
-
@Fuzyyour remark doesn't make sense to me as without netduma + wired there is no lag in game. Thus i do think it is either conjestion or steady ping as steady ping also doesn't seem to work propeely. I hope that i find the solution otherwise i need to send this back to netduma as this is bad game experience to me and waste of effort and money on my end.

Will check this tomorrow. I do use dmz feature.
-
Also replying to your remark yes it did show cod in smartboost as wel as in geo. After the lag i disabled it to see if it would help (per message above). No difference.
-
When there are enemies and busy areas. I do not have this without netduma. Also why do i need to lower conjection as i have 1gb speed. Already lowered it now to 75%. Note, i am always gaming wired. Here is a clip. VID-20240123-WA0000.mp4

Call of duty still has some lag at the moment. I disables smartboost but this still occurs when opponent are in front of me. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
-
i added the TCP and UDP which helped to finally get an A+. It does suck to not have the ability i goes to have the full speed, but will play around. Thank you so much!! @Netduma Fraser @DARKNESS

Will try this tomorrow again. Appreciate your remark.
-
Already tried this. Still laggy in game. Any other thoughts?

Hi support, I hope you can help me. I bought the R3 and appreciate the way it should elevate my gaming. However, i noticed after using it one week that the R3 causes a lot of in game stuttering. After checking the bufferbloat see a big difference compared to connection without it. With R3, there seems to be a bufferbloat. I see that on this site the grade is a B and in worst cases even lower. connection directly via my ISP, i see that (link) the grade for bufferbloat is always an A. I have updated the software to the latest, did a factory reset after the update, tried with and without steady ping. Also with and without congestion. There is no difference. Anyone else noticed this and what could possible cause this? Thanks
