  1. Does this one have any special recovery methods incase of a bricked router like my R2 did? By this I mean being able to use the USB port for forcing firmware updates or does the port have no functionality again?
  2. Commenting in this post to avoid creating a new one but any clue when the next update will be available? Hoping something changes with it that can help with this. Yes the problem still continues even after managing to get all the connection tests to A+ (they are even A+ while the TV is streaming) I still lag every time the TV is used for Netflix or any other streaming. It seems like the router is prioritizing the TV (Its not set to be prioritized in Traffic Prioritization) instead of my PS4 which is set to be prioritized.
  3. For now its not much of a problem because it only updates when I use it/turn it on. Is there anything else I can try to stop lagging or is it just a problem with internet speeds?
  4. When you prioritize a device you can select advanced and put the port range to 1-65535. Unless I got the wrong idea of what that does . . . Either way I've had the DumaOS classified games option enabled before and still lagged and I will disable the DMZ option as said
  5. Sorry for the late response but yes the packet counter goes up rapidly and I switched congestion control to auto enable
  6. They have been disabled
  7. Problem still persists after lowering congestion control to 30% for download, I lag when its just a smartphone watching Youtube. I also set that DMZ thing to my PS4s ip but not sure what it does. My PS4 is also the only one being prioritized on every port TCP & UDP, I also have geo filter set to the closest servers ( California ). My modem doesn't have bridge mode Netgear CM500
  8. I'm assuming by hub you mean modem and if that's the case yes it's only my R2 and modem. I'm assuming my upload speed is not fast enough but that's kind of the point of QOS to prioritize my PS4/gaming. Would sharing excess bandwidth perhaps be the issue or should I keep lowering congestion control limits to see if that works?
  9. Yeah I still lag even if its just a smartphone watching Youtube, since you said the devices have to be connected to the R2 to have full control that kind of renders QOS useless if they're not wired right?
  10. Only my PS4 and PC are connected directly to the router by Ethernet cable.
  11. Whenever any device on my network is streaming shows or movies I lag a ton on my PS4 I have 100mbs up and about 6mbs up. I have traffic prioritization on for my PS4 for all ports and for the games I play (battlefield 2042) I even have 25% download for my PS4 and 28% for upload but I continue to lag until those devices aren't streaming anything. When the devices stream they use less than 5mbs download and less than 500kbs upload.
