Some features on dumaos don’t load and my wifi is inconsistent but why not get a brand new router for the same price because it’s on sale

I bought another xr1000 for basically same price but it’s new and it’s from netgear it comes Thursday I’m gonna return my current one

I also bought the router from amazon as renewed for $200 could that be a problem

Could I try factory resetting the xr1000? im also replacing the coax line in my house to see if that fixes anything because my speeds keep dropping at night

I’m getting a new modem just incase if there’s any issues with it because my modem rn is linked up to the spectrum router still so that might be a problem

Ok I’ll try it tonight, what if it doesn’t improve anything? Is it worth trying a new router?

They just won’t load at all and then a error message pops up, how do I improve my ping then from qos?

Im using Speedtest.net to my local server I get 25 from the modem and 35 from the router, the modem is a spectrum ES2251 there is no other devices hogging up a ton of internet and I haven't done anything with qos. I was thinking about returning the xr1000 for a different router. Ping heat map and geo filter are still not working on any of my devices either. I bought the router renewed from amazon Also get lower ping on games like Fortnite when connected to the modem directly

sorry I just found the issue its just my isp being trash, but my ping from the modem is 25 but when I test it from the nighthawk xr1000 I get like 35 ping

So earlier at like noon I was getting 700-750 speeds with a gigabit connection, not 1000 but its whatever but when I get home from work its all the way down to 200-500 idk what to do

It always used to work for me before on safari so I don't think thats the problem, also the geo filter on the duma doesn't work

im on MacBook so safari but isp tech is coming to my house because I've been having problems with their modem so im gonna wait until thats done then I'll try. but I think im using armor

I changed it to 5 and rebooted and the problem is still there

and by the way like everything is loading very slow

Ping heat map and geo filter were working fine last night and now I can't even load them up every time it says rapp not loading please try again in a couple minutes or whatever, already tried rebooting the router and it didn't work
