Is this fine? with my VM it was 55% for dl and 85 for ul.

@Netduma Fraser hi mate. so I have my Sky FTTP installed, currently I have the sky broadband box plugged into the ONT box, and my R2 plug into port 1 of sky box. I have network on my desktop PC connected via LAN, and I have a WAN IP displayed in DUmaOS. I am going to log into the sky box and disabled all WiFi, would that be enough or do I need to add anything else elsewhere? think it's all setup now, best I could. disabled wifi on sky broadband router/box/ current benchmark: ping has definitely lowered moving from VM to FTTP.

the network light on the R2 will go off intermittently every other day or so. For example, so far today and all day Wednesday and Thursday had no issues what so ever. But just after 19:14pm the light went off and all devices lost connection. But this time i was able to take a copy of the log information around that time. But when i logged into DumaOs, the WAN IP was still visible and connected. A reboot of the R2 usually gets it back. Am i ok to paste the info in here? My Virgin media Hub 4 didn't go down, has that is always lit up correctly. Last few days with VM will migrate over to Openreach on Monday. Nice one mate, like I said before I know I am definitely connected to the London data centre/server with 14ms ping. Without R2 I was constantly connected to the France with 20+ms.

@Netduma Fraser I will ask here instead of creating another thread-in 3 weeks time I will be moving over to Sky Fibre 900 from VIrgin Media 1GIG, would it be a straight and simple switch over? I guess resetting the router and going through the wizard again, anyother changes I would have to make? I think I will have there Sky Q router which I will put into modem mode.

The FIFA issue..did what you said...but has you can see i am matched up with a player on 14ms..can see the player but not server

Thank you for the quick response. disabling the private address didn’t work, but I then went and disabled ad-blocker on my iPhone (via R2) and hey presto it seems to be fine now. I will try the FIFA fix tonight.

Hi there, yesterday I received my R2 and set it up with my Virgin Media Hub 4 ( i am on the 1GIG broadband service). The R2 is only connected via a network cable straight into the hub 4 which is on modem only mode. I have setup and configured 2.4 and 5.0 wifi networks, but when I use my iphone 12 to browse through a couple of forums (EA FIFA and RedCafe forums) I always have to manually refresh the browser tab to get it to refresh. it constantly hangs. tried both forums on a iphone 10 and same issue. On my desktop PC connected via LAN it is fine. The phone apps work great so not sure why the forum browsing is effected? Happens with both Safari and Chrome. Browsing seems to be fine when online on this forum. When I received the R2 it was upgraded to latest firmware and then factory reset. Second issue: I use my PS4 to only play FIFA 22 online, and when going into a match or manually ping the EA servers London does not get displayed. |Even though I am pretty sure I am connected to some one nearby has the ping is usually 14ms. From the ping test no London or Dublin server.
