  1. im trying to be a little more advanced, netduma shows wired extender devices offline, i fixed it by also fixing the default gateway on there
  2. the current topology is ont > netduma, into a breakout switch going to all rooms of my house, including my room, which is where the asus router is getting its internet from.
  3. in my room. network friend said that its possible to redirect traffic from netduma to allow another router to handle the dhcp and all that stuff.
  4. my network topology is ONT > Netduma >Breakout network switch going all around the house including my room.
  5. so im trying to make the router. in my room the main dhcp server, the one that gives out ip addresses, and im having trouble in achieving this, i was told to disable the dhcp server of the netduma router (close internet.) and keep it enabled on my asus router, my networking friend told me it will try to look for the next available dhcp server, and im at a loss. what am i doing wrong?
  6. Is this still possible?
  7. I would certainly purchase a r3 if it were to come out. Please adopt the asus solid antennas instead of the flimsy ones? Thanks
  8. Alright thanks ill do that now.
  9. As a man in the middle
  10. So Ill ask this again can I use another router that has arp functionality and do it that way
  11. I can only do this on my local lan. With no issues whatsoever
  12. The problem is. Since if a pc is off. The network (router will know it’s off and then clear it’s cache. So even though the port is open and the magic packet can be sent. The router won’t remember the MAC address because the cache was cleared. I did a test and the cache cleared in 2 minutes. When I tried to WoW my computer using my 5g (wan, internet) it didn’t turn on. So it’s lead to believe it is the hidden arp cache, it would be good if telnet could be added so that we can add those entries ourselves. We shouldn’t be barred from the router. We understand it’s more of a security risk doing it but for advanced tech savvy people it would be so much beneficial. I would like to see connecting to the busy box server on the router be added in the future. For now. Can I use a mitm (router) to do the arp for me?
  13. I feel this feature would be most useful, with the upcoming 3.3 release, for normal users, this would not only allow WOL To be a thing and a main part of the routers operating system, but it would essentially allow you to wake up a system over the internet,
